Great stay with plenty to do and a fantastic cabin

Everything was great and cabin was equipped with everything you could need. There was plenty to do. We did Dollywood, tubing, The Island, snow tubing to name a few. My least favorite part was the drive up the steep, narrow and very twisty road. Whew! Other than that it was a great family vacation!

Nice cabin but....

The cabin itself was beautiful. Nice, big open rooms and lots of space. Very cozy. Location was nice as well, very quiet. However, housekeeping was definitely not the best. When we got there, there were used beer empty bottles sitting on the upstairs porch, some of them used as ashtrays. The jacuzzi tub had BIG clumps of someone's hair in the drain and some dishes were pretty dirty.

Ok but not the best

Cleanliness needs to be improved, had to clean things before letting the kids inside. Game items didnt work probably. Had to.play which remote works which TV after finding them. Poison oak and sumac growing all around driveway side of cabin. Overall good stay good location, back in the woods and quiet.

Needs lots of TLC

Nightmare. Cabin was dirty and lots of things broken. Maintenance man Johnny was amazing and helped us. Property managers ended up moving us to a different (AMAZING) cabin. We suggest the owners come and stay about a week to repair and clean the place before renting it out.

Right for the price!

The bad... the microwave didn't work, not all of the hot tub jets worked properly, the master tub needs some deep cleaning and recaulking and gaming tables were a little worn and tilted. The good... wonderful set up, beautiful cabin, clean, plentiful kitchenware and tools, really nice staff, purchase options for stuffed bear mementos, they have labeled instructions for use of equipment, ac and heating worked fantastic, quiet area, and a decent view for being nestled in a small valley between mountain peaks. Definitely a cabin and company I'd go with again!

I was surprised by the quality

Pros: It’s a quiet cabin in the smoky mountains. Close to Sevierville and Pigeon Forge. Main living room is very attractive with great views. Hot tub works.Cons: Significantly outdated. And not just “old style” I mean like used for 40 years and hardly still functional. Reclining couch broken, doors don’t close from settling, VCR, DVD player doesn’t work, outlets too loose to keep anything plugged in safely, very dark rooms, bulbs going out, lots of old mix-matched furniture, caulking in master tub seriously separating where water is dripping behind tub in the walls, water stains, beds are super firm with large dents from where people sleep, dishwasher hasn’t been descaled in 25 years min, FULL of calcium or caked on cheap detergent residual, front door split and repaired from being kicked in, drains clogged in downstairs bathrooms, showerstaking baths, air hockey table pucks too old for the puck to move and actually play, hardly any felt left on pool table, pieces missing from chess game. My biggest con was the COBWEBS! These are easy fixes and indication that the property is very neglected. We spent the first night taking down cobwebs with a broom we found. I feel this is the least a property manager can do. If you are happy with the simple things (which we were for the most part), then this is it. Cons weren’t a deal breaker but the quality definitely compromised our comfort.
