Please note. I did not stay at this location. We had booked and paid to stay here on June 12, 2026. We never received any information about how to check in. On the day we were supposed to check in I was able to reach the property owner who advised me that they never received our reservation and the property was not available. I do not know if this was a system mistake or what but it is the 1st time I have had an experience like this on VRBO. I was very lucky in that I was able to make an arrangement for another place to sleep that night as the place (Le Mans, France) was extremely busy because of the 24 hour race on their that weekend. It was potentially a difficult position to be in. I contacted VRBO over the phone for a refund when I arrived back home about two weeks after this incident and they were excellent at taking care of a refund immediately. My communication with the VRBO property owner was done over the VRBO mail and so the VRBO people were able to easily access our communication to see / confirm the details of my claim. Very poor response by the property owner but excellent response by VRBO to take care of my claim.
