Our charming apartment offers an exclusive retreat with mesmerizing views and direct access to the Richibucto River. Start your morning sipping coffee from one of our Muskoka chairs along the waterfront or maybe an early paddle along the river.

As the day unfolds, explore nearby pristine beaches - Cap Lumiere, Bouctouche Dunes or Kelly's Beach all offering their own unique landscapes. Enjoy Kouchibouguac National park for hiking, mountain biking, kayaking and more. Stroll through the beautiful Irving Arboretum to experience botanical gardens with trees, flora and fauna located on the banks of the Black River. As the night falls, consider Akadi Lumina an Acadie experience comes to life along a 1.5 km forest pathway (tickets required). All of these great locations and experiences are just a 20-minute drive away.

After a day of exploration, unwind in the comfort of our self-contained apartment. Wonderful stay

Wonderful vacation week at Glenn' and Deb's. The appartment is clean, beautiful and fully equiped. Really the perfect vacation home!

Glenn and Deb were excellent hosts! They provided great recommendations for things to do in the area. The accommodation is perfectly located near many attractions. The apartment is very clean and well-furnished. Glenn and Deb’s place is not only pet-friendly, they are true dog lovers! I would highly recommend this place without hesitation.

Just wonderful!

We had a wonderful stay at the Crow's Nest! The view is just amazing and in a very calm area. The hosts were very nice and made us feel at home. The little beach was great and the neighbor's dog was very nice!

This property was such a pleasant surprise. The pics do not do the place justice. Glenn and Deb are wonderful hosts who go above and beyond to accommodate their guests. The sunset walk along the beach with the tide down was beautiful.

Superb. Exactly as advertised, except better. The property is above a garage, so even though the guests nominally only have the top floor, it is much more than a loft. You are the only creatures in the building - private and quiet. Tastefully decorated, sensibly outfitted, and thoughtfully furnished. Would recommend for any couple, in any season.

Great stay.

The property is in great location on the river. It is very quiet and a good place to walk and just enjoy nature. The loft is very cozy by the fire of the wood stove to read or just relax and the sunsets are beautiful. We were impressed how beautiful it was. Glenn and Deb were very excellent hosts . Thank you

Beautiful apartment with everything you need. The hosting couple are wonderful and attentive. Molly, my dog had a great time playing with their dog and swimming. We are going home relaxed and plan to come back next summer . We had good weather the with the exception of one rain, thunder and lightning storm. It was at night so it didn't interrupt our day.

Peaceful, welcoming, well located beach front hideaway

Thoughtfully prepared getaway for 2 that is and of itself self-contained. Restaurants and groceries a 5 minute drive away with lots to see and do in the area. Our only regret was not spending enough time on the property. Low tide beach walks and reading books by the river. Living space is on the second floor with views on all 4 sides and a lovely chorus of frogs serenade on warm evenings. Hosts are warm and welcoming, we highly recommend!

Beautiful spot! Do yourself a favour and book it!

We were so happy with this little getaway during these trying times. We are very busy active people, when we got there the loft is so well stocked with everything we needed plus more. Included were puzzles. We poured a glass of wine and started one, kept doing puzzles for two days and just relaxed! Totally out of character for us but so enjoyed! The view is beautiful and sunset is gorgeous. Don’t wait, book it!

Amazing place!

The Crows Nest is perfect for a short “getaway” or a longer stay to relax. This place is beautiful, well designed and is furnished with everything you need. We loved our three night stay….we will be back!

Wonderful, private getaway!

I stayed here with my friend and our dogs to go cross country skiing in the park. I have to say, we were both pleasantly surprised at the spacious living area, full kitchen, extra blankets and overall experience. The hosts were so kind and had fresh muffins waiting for us upon arrival. The wood for the fireplace was super dry and easy to light. It’s the perfect home base if you are planning on exploring the area - highly recommend!

We're very happy to return to New Brunswick after being away for over 30 years. We fulfilled our dream of owning water front property on the beautiful Richibucto River with the most spectacular sunsets anywhere! So happy to be home.

Why they chose this property

If you're looking for a quiet place to relax, study or work this is a great place to unwind. We love walking our small beach and swimming but also enjoy having great access to beautiful beaches along the Northumberland Straight. We spend a lot of time at Kouchibouguac National Park in all seasons. Rental equipment is available at the park for bike, ski, snowshoe etc. If there's anything we can do to make your stay special let us know.

What makes this property unique

The sunsets are amazing and we love having access to one of the most beautiful rivers in NB. We are 20 minutes to some of the most beautiful beaches in the Maritimes.
