Fabulous stay in Eygalieres during a heatwave!

My extended family and I have just finished a wonderful stay at Caroline’s property during a very hot week in June.Caroline was kind, welcoming and gracious from booking the property right until the moment we checked out, we were greeted with a wonderful outdoor area with tonnes of options for seating and eating and a beautiful pool which has a wonderful shallow ledge perfect for my 11 month old and 3 year old to play in, the photos really don’t do it justice.We had many a bbq and pétanque evening facilitated by the outdoor fridge and fan! The inside was spacious well equipped and wonderfully clean, with well needed aircon throughout.We regularly stay in France and this was one of the best properties we have stayed in. The surrounding area and eygalieres in particular was a wonderful base.Thanks so much and we hope to be back again!

A very unpleasant end to a nice holiday, when the owners representative, after checking the house over telephoned the owner and asked us to speak to her. We were then accused of switching off the surveillance cameras in the house and by the pool and told to turn them back on. We were shocked, firstly to hear that there were cameras and secondly that they were not in a prominent place, had not been disclosed in the listing and no notices displayed advising us of monitoring! Eventually it was agreed that as the lights on the cameras were on it was a WiFi issue and nothing to do with us. Owner now claims, that cameras are switched off when the house is rented, if so, why spend ages insisting we couldn’t leave until we turned them back on?!! On the plus the house is comfortable, Eygalieres is beautiful and it is an easy and safe walk from the house to the village.
