Château de Chimay "Disappointing stay. Some positives but we would not return. 🙂 Great location on the sea front. Lovely views from the living room. good size living area. Well equipped kitchen. Lots of games for adults and children was a nice touch. 🙁 Toilet was very cramped and used as a storage room. There were cleaning materials, tins of paint and a sweeping brush hanging on the wall almost touching you when using the toilet. We found this very uncomfortable and unsatisfactory. We were also disappointed with kitchen cleanliness. The kitchen sponge and cloth were dirty - there were no spares and no kitchen roll. The fridge had not been switched and the door closed which meant it smelt badly. This caused us problems because we had fresh food. We managed to switch it on but it took a while before it was useable. There was only one wardrobe, part of which was full,of equipment,- vacuum cleaner, high hair etc. This meant that there was limited storage which was ok for a couple but would be a problem for any more people"

Très bon séjour

Le top de cet appartement , c’est la plage juste devant.La maison a un certain cachet .l’appartement en lui même est agréable pour un couple ,plus , cela ne serait pas confortable.la chambre dans la tour environ 5 mètres carrés, un lit seulement et des difficultés pour circuler autour.la région est magnifique et nous avons pu bénéficier d’un temps superbe avec une température très agréable.

Außen Hui! innen oh No!

Die Fotos sind sehr alt und entsprechen nicht der Realität. Das Haus ist alt, irgendwann mal renoviert und liegt toll direkt am Strand. Die Garage gibt es nicht, aber man findet immer etwas auf der Straße rund ums Haus. Die gesamte Wohnung ist maximal so klein wie angegeben. Das Bad ist ein "Durchgangszimmer" von 2m². Das WC hat 1m². Die Küche ist eine Zeile mit niedrig hängendem Bord, mit 165cm Körpergröße kann man da nicht hantieren, ohne sich den Kopf anzuschlagen. Die Fensterklappen haben bei uns nur an 2 v. 5 Fenstern einwandfrei funktioniert. Der "Turm" beherbergt ein Schafzimmer, leider gelingt es trotz Putzens und intensiven Lüftens in 14d nicht, den penetranten Geruch von Schimmel heraus zu bekommen. Wir vermuten, dass die gesamte Paneel-Innenverkleidung von hinten schimmelig ist. Das Anzahl der vorhandenen, angefangenen Durftspraydosen lässt vermuten, dass das Problem bei unserer Ankunft schon länger bestand. Unter medizinischen Aspekten, gebietet es die Sorgfaltspflicht dem Eigentümer, diesen gefährlichen Mangel zeitnah grundlegend zu sanieren. Echten Schimmelpilz-allergischen Personen kann man nur dringend von dieser FeWo abraten. Keine Agentur sollte das unsaniert weiter anbieten, wenn sie keine Kunden gefährden und verärgern möchte.

Château de Chimay "Le logement est vraiment bien, bien entretenu, joliment décoré et très bien placé. Le gros hic aura été l'absence de prise en compte de la présence de clients pendant que des professionnels appliquaient de l'hydrofuge sur le bâtiment. Nous dormions fenêtre ouverte quand nous avons senti une odeur très forte. En effet ce produit est toxique (les personnes l'appliquant étant en combinaison intégrale), rémanant et fortement désagréable. Nous n'avons pas été prévenus, cela a senti pendant 2j, et le seul geste proposé est de 60€ de remboursement (ce qui équivaut à une 1/2 journée sur place !!!). De plus, une infiltration d'eau a duré plusieurs jours et nous avons mis un seau et épongé pendant 2j pour éviter d'autres problèmes ; d'où un geste plus important aurait été apprécié, voire obligé. Il est grand temps d'ailleurs de refaire les morceaux de toiture manquants... Très contents du séjour ici et dans ce beau coin de France, mais vraiment mécontents de votre réaction face à ces problèmes."
