Family friendly 90m2 apartment in the design of the 30s
We offer a comfortable stay in a spacious 90 m2 mansard flat. The apartment is perfect for families with kids or a group of friends, but you’ll also feel like home alone or in a couple.
The apartment is fully equipped with dishware and all electrical devices including water boiler, coffee and Nespresso machine, microwave and toaster. The bathroom has a shower cabin and a bathtub; a washing-machine and a hair dryer are also provided. The spacious living room with balcony offers cozy evenings by the fireplace. Satellite TV, DVD collection, library, games and toys help to sweeten possible rainy days. The apartment is equipped with a minibar. Should you wish to, we can buy additional food for you prior to your arrival. We can ensure lunch and dinner delivery based on an order, or you can eat at one of the restaurants recommended by us.
A warm treatment of our guests is very important to us - occasionally they can enjoy the landlady’s homemade bakery products.

If you are looking for a special stay away from the hectic hotel traffic, our apartment is the right choice. We built it in the mansard of our completely renovated house from 1932. It’s located on a hill, in the residential district Zlín-Nivy, just a ten- minute walk to the city centre. You can also enjoy our garden, which has a beautiful view of the city.

As a Zlín-born I was surrounded by architecture. I became a fan of functionalism and the style of the 30s in general. We had a lot of fun while decorating the apartment - and equipped it with books and films about Thomas Bata and architecture. The visit of the 2013 opened Bata Institute is a must for any visitor of Zlín. Worth seeing is mainly the permanent exhibition "Baťa principle: Today imagination, tomorrow reality " on the 3rd floor, consisting of the Baťa Shoe Museum with over 1,000 exhibits, the advertising and filmography section as well as the travel section. Here you can also book a ride of the historic elevator - the Baťa office – in the headquarters of the Baťa factory.
