This rental was fantastic! It was fully stocked and then some, loads of space for our large group (11 people), plenty of backyard games and activities on property not to mention the hiking and outdoor activities in the area. Plenty of chairs around the fire, as well as seating vignettes around the decks to relax and enjoy the view. Kurt was an amazing host, very friendly, helpful with suggestions for things to do, quick to reply to questions when office was closed (lives onsite so readily available). Excursion bookings are available onsite. Would absolutely go back again!

Stayed for a couple nights with family to celebrate a big birthday in December. Had a great time, its an excellent location for a large group.

Kurt was fabulous to deal with, friendly, responsive and accommodating.The Lodge was the perfect place for our gathering, ample common area to gather and enough private areas to retreat to for privacy.The property is expansive, so lots of room for games, visits and fireside stories. The family appreciated the hot tub and it was super clean!Thank you Kurt for a lovely stay

Multigenerational vacation. Great location and activities for all ages. The building is well appointed and the property itself was expansive and well maintained. Kurt was always available and helpful navigating the area.

Great escape and ATV access

We really enjoyed our stay lots of deer hanging out in the back of the property, ATV trails right from the door great fire pit and fire place will certainly come back

Great Cabin for a Group Stay!

A great cabin for a bigger group with plenty of common space inside and a nice green space in the backyard. Attached to walking trails that can take you to a creek or up a mountain. Great property!

A wonderful place to host a family get together

I love the setting, with nearby walking trails and so close to Nordegg townsite. Everything met or exceeded our expectations, great kitchen and dining room table for large get together. Prompt answers to questions from owner after booking.

Friends weekend

We all truly enjoyed our stay. It’s an amazing place for family and friends to stay. The house was spotlessly clean and communication with the owner was outstanding. We would definitely book to stay on our weekend get-aways again. Thanks Kurt.

Beautiful Area

Nice cabin that fit my extended family well. The fireplace is the main heat source however there isn’t a gate which was a concern given we had a toddler and child with us. Overall it was beautiful

Guys Trip!

Five of us guys (together since Junior High School) are all turning 60 this year. We have done a lot of annual guys trips, but this one was special due to our milestone birthdays. We rented the Lodge at Coliseum Mountain and it was awesome. The property was exactly as advertised and the host was excellent. It’s quiet, comfortable and scenic everywhere you look. We throughly enjoyed our stay and the area and would definitely visit again.

Great location and great host

This is a great place to get away in order to go hiking, horseback riding, and the phenomenal scenery in the area. Kitchen was fully stocked and there was a great table. Only wish there was a couch upstairs. Kurt was awesome to deal with, quick to reply, and would help with anything we needed. Highly recommend for groups of friends.

We had a wonderful stay! The lodge is spacious, clean, and had everything we needed - including a fully stocked kitchen, and large bright dining room. Perfect for our intergenerational fam gathering, with plenty of indoor games, and outdoor fun with large firepit, hot tub, badminton, giant jenga and more. BONUS: Beautiful walking trails accessed right from back yard and on-site high end e-bike, kayak rentals. Kurt was beyond helpful and considerate. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Perfect spot in nature

The house was great! Kurt and Karla we great hosts. Very prompt in responding and kept in touch with us to make sure all was well. There was a ton of room outside to enjoy nature with a big yard. Having a hot tub was a bonus. Unfortunately, couldn’t use the fire pit because of the fire ban but the set up was perfect. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Would definitely recommend staying there and hope to be back ourselves.

The very best house to explore Alberta

We stayed in this very well appointed large chalet near sleepy Nordegg to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with our children and grandchildren. It was the best place we could have imagined. Our hist Kurt went out of his way to make us comfortable and advised us on the many attractions nearby. The house is large and comfortable and tge outdoor spaces kept the grandchildren busy playing volleyball badminton and soccer. Every hiking outing ended in the delightful jacuzzi. You will never regret renting this lovely place.

Fantastic stay in a remote location

Everything was perfect for our group, the house is stunning and in a beautiful secluded location. There's an incredible outdoor space with a huge yard, firepit and hot tub. On the inside there are lots of bedrooms, a huge dining table for.group meals and a couple of living areas, all with easy access to large deck/balconies. The house is stocked with everything that you'd need for a trip and the attention to detail with a focus on the guest experience is excellent. Kurt is a great host, very friendly, highly knowledgeable and willing to help in any way needed. We're already discussing going back next year because of how impressed we were.
