Let the neverending sun of The Sunshine State melt your stress away at this family-friendly, oceanfront condo at The Beach House. This sixth-floor condo offers two spacious bedrooms that are perfect for family and friends - each one equipped with a TV with cable and a ceiling fan. Unwind in the living room after spending the day at the beach - it's equipped with a large sectional sofa, an armchair, a ceiling fan, and a large TV with cable, creating the ideal setting for movie nights. The chef of the group will have a great time cooking delicious meals and preparing snacks for the group in the well-equipped kitchen. Stainless steel appliances and plenty of counter space will make meal prep a breeze. The private balcony is great for sipping a morning cup of coffee or relaxing after a day at the beach.

The beach is a short walk away - don't forget to walk down to Pompano Joe's for some coconut shrimp once you arrive! Enjoy shopping for designer goods at Silver Sands Premium Outlets, less than a mile from this condo. Henderson Beach State Park features clear waters with plenty of wildlife to observe (and fish to catch) just over six miles from the condo. Gator Beach, just under six miles from the condo, hosts free shows and family-friendly exhibitions featuring one of Florida's most famous animals - including a rare albino alligator!

Good location

Like everyone said Beach House is old but the private beach very convenience. I like to seat in the balcony to watch and listen the waving sound. It is so amazing!

Open concept !

Love the open concept! The soiled material sofa and master bedroom mattress were uncomfortable. Overall, the condominium needs a little TLC; however, I like that it was clean and would rent it again.

Never 604A

Love Beach house but 604A awful. Furniture old and broken. Kitchen barely furnished… not a spatula in sight. All bedding old and awful. Washer and dryer moldy and dryer takes several cycles. Electrical outlets hit and miss. Balcony furniture old and 2 chairs missing straps. Beach house is always great but 604A is a disgrace. Just nasty dirty and old. Very disappointing.

Everything but the couch

The apartment itself was great, location, amenities. There was construction right outside our door for the entire time we were there. They started at 7am every morning so sleeping in the room closest to them was impossible. The couch was very dirty and uncomfortable. There wasn’t a variety in pans so cooking for the family was a struggle. The view and the layout were great. There’s just a couple things that could easily be improved.

Our Stay at A604

Pro’s: We’ve stayed at Beach House for six years now because of it’s amazing location. It’s beachfront, and it’s conveniently located near restaurants and shopping. This was our first time in A604, which brings me to the cons. Cons: every issue and complaint made by the previous reviewers is still an issue. There was an empty box of toothpaste behind the nightstand in the master bedroom. There was cologne and other belongings in the second bedroom. There were zero plates in this unit(all units we’ve ever stayed in besides this one had fully stocked kitchens—this one did not). The TVs are dated. The cable box in the master didn’t even work the first night. The washing machine smelled terrible. All in all, for this unit, special attention to clean up, ample kitchen supplies, and a little cosmetic updating and A604 would be great. As for Beach House, generally: my family loves staying here. But the value has not kept commensurate with the yearly price increase. There is little-to-no enforcement of clearly posted rules at the pool and fitness facility. At the pool, some guy had a blow up unicorn rodeo with his crew, taking up half the pool, while he chugged a beer(all against posted rules). The fitness facility has a two person max, but I was joined by two and three people several times during my stay(you cannot move in there). And it’s unreasonable to charge $20 for a 25-cent bracelet that gets lost because a kid loses it in the ocean playing in the waves(he was over 10 which means he was required to wear it).

Beach House A604

The Beach House condominiums are nothing fancy, but always feels like home since we have been going here since 2009. We love the amenities and the area! A604 was nicely renovated and spacious. However, it wasn’t as clean as it should have been (dust and wrappers that could be easily seen behind furniture and socks in a drawer) and the master king bed was absolutely awful! The mattress was very hard and because it was on a wooden platform instead of box springs, it made a lot of noise when one of us rolled over or moved at all. Also, the shades in the bedroom did not block any sunlight and the shades in the living area were falling off the track. I understand that rentals are not always perfect, but this unit definitely needs some attention.

View was excellent- location great.

Property was older but in good shape. The room had a beautiful view of the beach but the room needs TLC. Furniture, beds, tables, all need replaced. The table wobbles and the fixed it by putting a piece of large cardboard under a leg. Bed creaked and popped so much that you could not turn over for waking your partner. The amenities were nice at one time but they have reached their limit. The pictures look great online but the unit needs work. Changed out bulbs, fixed leaking faucet, rust around the faucets in master...looks like the condo unit owners have not put money back into the unit in quite some time. I understand that you do not want to put a lot of money into something that people will not take care of or appreciate but some money keeps people coming back. At the rates we paid for this unit at this time of year, it is not worth it. We are in Destin 4-5 times a year and usually rent 7-10 days at at time. This was the first time here and unfortunately, the last. Not looking for anything free and do not want a discount...just giving an honest review.

Location was great. Some of the amenities need to be updated such as the sleeper sofa. We had to buy a frying pan due to fact that there was none. Over all it was a great experience.

Love the complex disappointed in unit

Love the Beach House Condominiums. Beach is never crowded, beautiful, and great location. Pool is always clean and overlooking the beach. We have stayed at the Beach House Condominiums 2 other times in different units and unfortunately 604A was not comparable to past experiences. Kitchen was not fully stocked, kitchen table wobbly couldn’t enjoy a meal without making sure glasses didn’t tip over with 3 kids, mold in bathroom shower curtain, washing machine stinky and mold inside door of dyer, dust caked on vents, couch so dirty no one wanted to sit on it, all furniture showing major wear and tear, multiple light bulbs burnt out and poor lighting overall all.

A week in Miramar at the Beach House Condos

The property is in an excellent location. The private beach access (Beach House condo residents/renters only) is an awesome feature. Also, the size (not too big) of the complex is nice because the private beach area never gets overcrowded. The complimentary 2 chair/1 umbrella beach service is a great touch - very convenient way to set up a "home base" every morning. Another great feature of the location is that the condo is beachside - no streets to cross to get to the beach. Just hop off the elevator and hit the beach! Surf Hut restaurant is 2 buildings down and you access it from the road or the beach. Alvin's Island (souvenir shop) is right across the street, and the Winn Dixie (grocery) is about a 3 minute drive. Great stay, would definitely stay there again! This is not a complaint by any means, but more for general awareness - the Beach House condos are not new condos. Our unit was starting to show some minor wear and tear, but it was very clean, which is more important to us. Again, great location, very clean, easy beach access, not too crowded on the beach, and we would definitely stay there again!

604A Beach House Condos

Loved how quite and uncrowded the beach is. Condo had the perfect view of the ocean. We have stayed at several different condos in Destin and this is by far our favorite and we will definitely be back.

I loved the location of this condo and it was a very nice size. The overall style of the condo is not very cozy and more contemporary. Doesn’t give you a beach feeling. The furniture is all very cheap and damaged. It all needs replacing. The master bed is super uncomfortable. Our hot water ran out pretty fast as well. We had 4 adults and 2 children. The couch in this unit was torn and worn out. The elevator of this condo was also nasty and stunk. It had a wet piece of wafer board for the floor and it was just gross and stinky.

Perfect Location for Families

We had never been to the area and we noticed really quick that our location was about perfect. Private Beach. Beautiful view. Great food 2 doors down which was also kid friendly. Grocery just down the street. The crowds were all about 1 mile away. Condo was clean. Very spacious not cluttered. Furniture definitely showed some wear and tear but not too bad for a rental. We would stay again for sure.
