Amazing location in the heart of everything, awesome views

stylish, bright and spacious 5th floor apartment in an iconic building overlooking the Vieux Port - open, views through both sides of the flat - impossible to be bored - activity in the harbour is fascinating - sailing boats, super yachts, warships, ferries, the occasional cruise liner - safe and secure and with a lift - no need for a car: public transport is excellent, everything is on your doorstep. The fruit and vegetable market is 5 minutes away - the flat feels like someone's home so you will feel like you are in France. The owner doesn't speak English, so a working knowledge of French is useful. - Be aware: the flat can be noisy because of the activity in the harbour. This is outweighed by the entertainment value. - You will sometimes smell diesel from the boats. I accepted this as a consequence of having views over a working harbour - in my opinion it's not suitable for small children because there is a lot of glass and sharp/hard edges - the shower room itself is very nice, but there is only one small toilet located next to the main living area. Toulon is a good base for a city/beach holiday: we caught the inexpensive boats from just below the flat to all the beautiful local beaches. Toulon is the principal home of the French navy and naval dockyard and that has a fascinating history. From the balcony, you can hear the bugle to raise/lower the French flag in the morning and evening. Such a pleasing and evocative sound.

Emplacement parfait tout à proximité...un peu de bruits la nuit... Une magnifique vue ainsi que l apparemment très lumineux et propreté irréprochable Pascal est très agréable ..on se sent comme chez nous dès l arrivée.. Nous serons où revenir 😉

Emplacement parfait tout est à proximité, marché restaurants, plages. L appartement est neuf de bon goût, très propre, propriétaire vraiment très sympathique. Merci pour tout.
