Whether it’s one night or a hundred nights, live the New Orleans experience! Our newly renovated and artfully decorated townhome is in the PERFECT LOCATION to visit the Crescent City. We are located on historic St. Charles Avenue and perfectly centered for convenient access to all the BIG EASY has to offer. If you choose to drive, no worries, parking is provided at the rear entrance of the house. The Trolley stop is two skips away for a short ride to the French Quarter or Audubon Park / Zoo and historic shopping, museums, world famous restaurants, the Convention Center and Warehouse District are a short stroll.

We have listed our home as a 3 Bedroom/2 Bath and described it as a 1, 2 or 3 Bedroom 1 or 2 Bath. So I will explain! Our desire is to fit your need and ultimately share the New Orleans Experience.

Our home is a two story historic building with a 1 bedroom 1 bath upstairs and a 2 bedroom 1 bath downstairs. We have recently renovated the downstairs to incorporate (2 bedrooms / 1 bath / living area / kitchen and dining area / laundry) and the upstairs (1 bedroom / 1 bath / living dining area / balcony over St. Charles Ave. / kitchen with laundry).

You can choose the Escape that is right for you, either our beautiful Old New Orleans Upstairs 1 bedroom and 1 bath with a large balcony, our Immaculate Downstairs 2 bedroom 1 bath with street access to St. Charles Ave. or take it all for family or friends.

Rental Rates $125.00 per night - 2 night minimum.

Mardi Gras Season 2017 there is a 5 night minimum stay.

UPSTAIRS: 1BR at $1,000 a night with a King Bed & sofa bed. Walk out on the Balcony and be right there for the Parades going down St. Charles Ave. This price will include any air mattresses needed, cleaning fee, an assortment of snacks and sodas.

DOWNSTAIRS: 2BR at $1,000 a night with a Queen and Double Bed in the rooms. This price will include any air mattresses needed, cleaning fee, an assortment of snacks and sodas.You can open the front door and you are on historic St. Charles Avenue.

THE GROUP ESCAPE: (UP and DOWNSTAIRS COMBINED) at $2,000 a night. This price will include any air mattresses needed, cleaning fee, an assortment of snacks and sodas.

About The Owner

Hi! I am a native of Mississippi and lived in New Orleans from 1984 until 1997 and LOVED it !! My husband and I have 3 boys and we live back in our hometown of Ocean Springs, MS.

The Owner purchased this house in 1993

Why The Owner chose New Orleans

We wanted a house easily accessible to the BEAUTY of Uptown and the FUN/Excitement of Downtown along with the ambience of a New Orleans home. We also wanted to be able to use the WONDERFUL streetcar and it is right outside our door! Additionally, it was important to have Parking and we were so lucky to find a place with 6 spots! We also were impressed with the selection of fabulous restaurants within walking distance of the house such as Emeril's !

What makes this house unique

It has brick walls and floors, two fireplaces, a BALCONY on the Avenue which is impossible to find a place to rent with one! The beautiful hardwood floors and 12' ceilings bring the true feeling of New Orleans yet it feels like home!

Great Trip!!!!

This was a mini family reunion of sorts. We rented both apartments to accommodate the eight of us. I drove down and thought the private parking was perfect. The home was clean and ready even though we arrived a couple hours early. There was a problem with the A/C unit upstairs that Celeste handled very quickly. There are security cameras for the private parking and the front of the house. I would definitely stay again and recommend that my friends stay also.

Awesome weekend getaway

Awesome Home! Authentic New Orleans!

We rented the entire home, including the upstairs apartment. This was an authentic NOLA experience. The home was very welcoming. All necessities were included. Private parking was a plus. We had a great time! The home is located near major tourist area. And security cameras are on the property to make sure you feel safe. Will definitely stay here again!!

Great place as described and very helpful for our first time to New Orleans!

The location was great as it was right on the trolley line with access to everything. The trolley was a quick ride to most attractions and you could walk to restaurants as well as walk to the museums. Samantha provided great suggestions for points of interest/restaurants which were very helpful. The place was spacious for a group with both floors rented there was plenty of room and the balcony was a plus overlooking Saint Charles!!

Great Guy's Trip House

We rented both units for a Guy's trip to New Orleans! The location was perfect, just walk outside and get on the street car. We had a great stay with 10 guys, we did add 2 air mattresses so there was plenty of room for us to sleep after a great evening in the French Quarters. Can't wait to go back! As soon as the next plan starts I will let you know.

Great location. Close to everything. Clean historic building. There were 8did us and we rented both units. Great set job for a group. Would definitely stay there again.

If you must cancel your reservation, please contact us immediately. If cancelled prior to 90 days you will only be charge a 15% Cancellation Fee. If cancelled between 90 -61 days prior to arrival date you will be charge for a 1 night stay + 15% Cancellation Fee. If cancelled any time after day 61 prior to your arrival you will be charge for the full reservation, every effort will be made to re-rent the property. If the property is rented, the Tenant is relieved of the financial obligation and a refund will be made for the full rent minus a cancellation fee of 15%. If the property is not rented, the Tenant is obligated to pay the rent for the dates reserved in this contract. If you decide rebook your cancelled reservation with the same amount of nights or more there will be a rental change fee of 10% instead of the cancellation fee of 15%.
