Wonderful Stay!

Lovely Riad to stay in, great location and also quiet compared to the busy street, rooms are lovely and Hafid was very helpful and couldn't have been nicer! Would highly recomend booking this Riad - easy walk to the Medina and they will also arrange a taxi from the airport who you can use again whilst staying in Marrakesh!

Excellent RIAD for long stay. Lots of convenience stores nearby.. Easy access to taxi

I would say that RUAD Amethyste is definitely one of the best places to stay In Marrakech Medina area fir the genuine old world experience….♥️ 👍 ⭐️

Amazing location and well managed

Great great stay, Hafid was a pleasure as property manager, arranging taxis to and from airport as well as local food / breakfast at the riad. Extremely pleasant and relaxed stay which made our trip that much more enjoyable. Super super séjour, Hafid était un plaisir en tant que gestionnaire, organisant des taxis vers et depuis l'aéroport ainsi que de la nourriture locale / petit-déjeuner au riad. Séjour extrêmement agréable et détendu qui a rendu notre voyage encore plus agréable.

Authentic hoilday

We arrived and were greeted by hafid and his wonderful mint tea. The riad is exactly as described. You real like you are living in your own bit of marrakech history. Your own private home. All rooms beautiful comfy and clean. Hafid can not do enough for you.from fantastic food,arranging trips or taxi. Been out of very centre was a good thing as the walk in each day.is interesting and you get to see a bit of real marrakech life. Thanks again would definitely book here again.

Perfect Riad

We spent a wonderful week in the AMETHYSTE RIAD. The riad is perfect and absolutely great. Nice rooms and the courtyard and terrace are just the perfect places to relax after a busy day exploring Marrakech. Inside the riad it is super peaceful and outside full medina life is happening. I can only recommend to stay here. The rias is located about 15 min walk from the very center of the medina and maybe 5 min from the next souk. This is a good location to get in and out of the medina for the days when exploring the areas around Marrakech. Mow to the very best part, M. Hafid is a real gem and very nice and friendly. The breakfast he prepares is just perfect. He is super helpful in organizing excursions. He also arranged dinner for us a couple of times, which was super tasty. All in all, AMETHYSTE RIAD is the BEST!

Superbe riad

Magnifique riad authentique, très typique au calme. belle decoration patio et terrasse très agréables., un havres de paix Quartier super sympa loin de la foule des touristes avec tous les commerces de proximité. Et le plus pour rendre notre séjour magique c'est Hafid avec toute sa gentillesse.. à nos petits soins pour nous rendre service. nous donner des renseignements et des conseils. organiser nos sorties.

Magnifique riad

Très beau riad , fidèle à la description et aux photos , une vraie petite Bahia ! Un havre de paix lorsqu'on arrive de la rue . Hafid est très serviable , il a réponse à toutes nos questions et résout tous nos problèmes ( même faire changer une fermeture éclair sur un pantalon ou recoller ma brosse à cheveux ! ) . Et toujours avec un grand sourire ! Bref ! Séjour parfait .

Juste parfait

Accueil merveilleux de Hafid. Il a fait de notre séjour une réussite avec ses conseils pour faire du thé, son aide pour réserver un hammam et une balade à dos de dromadaire... Riad très beau et propre et très bien situé. Idéal pour être au calme entre amis ou en famille. On recommande +++

RIAD AU CALME

j'ai séjourné une semaine dans le riad, j'ai apprécié le calme, pas de vis à vis, la cour intérieure est fort sympathique et la terrasse agréable pour se reposer au soleil.

Endroit paisible

Nous avons été pris en charge par Hafid, personne d'une grande aide. Riad au coeur de la Medina, les commerces sont proximité donc pratique. Cette Riad est un havre de paix ! Nous sommes allés au mauvais moment, nous avons profité de 24h de vacances ! Le Coronavirus a mobilisé toute notre énergie car nous devions quitter le Maroc dès que possible avec les fermetures des frontières annoncées. Nous n'avons pas profiter de notre sejour, pas.de visite... et sommes.partis bien avant la fin de.nos vacances ! Hafid nous a soutenu et nous donnait des informations bien utiles . Nous reviendrons lorsque nous aurons la possibilité.

ein wundervolles Zuhause

Wir waren im Februar eine Woche in Marrakesch, davon 4 Tage in dieser wunderschönen Unterkunft. Es war genau das traumhafte Zuhause, was wir gesucht und gefunden haben. Es entspricht absolut der Beschreibung. Wir wurden so herzlich von Hafid empfangen, er war immer für uns erreichbar, hatte tolle Tips für uns und hervorragend versorgt. Wir durften seine göttliche Tajine verkosten ebenso täglich wie ein wundervolles Frühstück. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Mitten im Gewusel der Medina ein traumhafter Ort zum Ausspannen, genießen, erholen und sich einfach nur wohl zu fühlen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Peaceful oasis

We loved this Riad. When you enter it all the outside noise fades away and you are in the midst of peace. It has a very well equipped kitchen and plenty of space to spread out. The lower level keeps cool in the daytime whilst you can go up to the upper level and enjoy the sunshine. The beds are comfortable and the shutters block out the light efficiently so you are not woken early by the sun if you don’t want to be. Hafid brings breakfast every morning, always freshly-squeezed orange juice (which is delicious!) , and either pancakes or pastries. He is willing to help with any queries you may have. He speaks French and a little English and was a great help to us when we needed to organise trips or taxis. If we return to Marrakech we would definitely want to return to Riad Amethyste, it’s a very special place!

A perfect little gem

The riad is a wonderful oasis in the hustle and bustle of the Medina. Hafid prepared a lovely meal for us on arrival (additional charge), and breakfasts every day. The rooms and beds were comfortable and spotlessly clean. Despite it being quite cold at night, we were warm and cosy. We felt very safe in the riad and it was very much our haven for the days we stayed. I would happily recommend it as a great place to stay.

Wonderful

We had a great experience at the Riad Amethyste. It was a little tricky to find, while the address in Google maps took us to the right spot, there was no sign on the door which I guess we were expecting. Our host Hafid was waiting to welcome us, had prepared some delightful couscous. He was very helpful in orientating us to the location. The home was extraordinary, very traditional Moroccan, extremely spacious and comfortable, perfect for a family with kids. The neighborhood was just a 10 minute walk from the heart of the souks, about 15 to 20 minutes to Jamaa El Fna square. We loved every bit of our stay!
