This Beautifully appointed (1800 square foot) home has all the amenities you'll need for a relaxing, fun holiday in the mountains. Located at the bottom of Snow Summit Ski Resort makes it ideal for the avid skier, mountain biker or family who just don't want to get back in the car.

Walk to the slopes, corner store and much more. Just 2-5 minutes from the Lake, Restaurants, and all of Big Bear's main attractions. There is ample parking for you and your guests in the large driveway, and we are situated on a flat street.

You will enjoy our very open floor plan, fantastic for entertaining. A large 42' TV in the living room with surround sound and a 40' TV in the master suite. We provide free wfi. The kitchen is fully equipped with every appliance and all cooking utensils.

Cozy up to a wonderful fire in the living room or master bedroom, take soak in the relaxing whirlpool tub or play an exciting game of Air Hockey. Go out on the back deck and have a delicious Bar-B-Q while you listen to the wind blow through the tall pines. After a long day of snow skiing, take a soak under the stars in the hot tub. Once you are here you won't want to go home.

The Bedrooms have 1 king size bed, A Queen size bed and a Queen bunk with a single bed on top. In the living room there is a Queen pullout leather Sofa, which sleeps 1 adult comfortably. All linens, including towels, blankets and sheets are provided.

First family trip to big bear

Spacious, comfortable house with a great location

The house was as beautiful and comfortable as described in the listing. Nice amenities, including hot tub, entertainment center, air hockey, foosball and fully equipped kitchen, made the stay particularly enjoyable for our family. Location was excellent - easily walkable to Snow Summit. One unfortunate aspect (not necessarily the owner's fault) is that the house had a lingering smell of marijuana that I assume came from a previous party; nevertheless, it didn't seem to bother my two young kids.

Great cabin!!

It is a very nice cabin, we loved the Christmas details, it is comfortable, it has everything you need for a good stay, the only thing that needs to be improved is the electronic devices (TVs) are a bit old, the TV did not have Netflix... but in general I give 5 stars and I would recommend it 100%.

Family friendly and walking distance to the slopes

The open plan living space made it possible for us to be together whether we were cooking a meal, watching a show or playing air hockey. And our snow boarders loved how close we were to the mountain. A wonderful weekend.

Amazing Weekend!!

We loved it! Cabin was very clean, cozy and it was very spacious. Location was amazing, short drive to the stores and walking distance from Snow Summit. The check in and check out process was very easy and communication with host was great. We plan to return next year.

GREAT Place

This was our first time visiting Big Bear Lake and we loved the area. This cabin however, made our trip the most enjoyable. As all of the reviews have stated, the location is amazing. Everything you could possibly need - grocery store, downtown, the lake, and great restaurants are within a 5-minute drive. Being at the base of the mountain, I even ventured up to look around and found a little cafe window where I could get a cup of coffee and sit outside (summertime). It was a beautiful way to start my day. This was the perfect house to bring my teen boys because of the air hockey and fuze ball tables. The big couch was comfy and could accommodate us and the kitchen had everything we needed. Finally, the host, Amanda was one of the best we've ever experienced. She was very responsive before and during our trip. She was kind and didn't make us feel like we were an annoyance in any way. We were so grateful to have found this cabin and hope to be back. FIVE STARS!!

We had a great stay at the cabin again. Walking to the slopes is very easy and makes it so fun. House is big and open with a great jacuzzi and large backyard to play for the kids , thanks again we will be back for a third time!

Mountain Holiday getaway

This was a wonderful property to stay at. It"s in close proximity to the ski slopes and lies in a quite scenic area. The property is well annointed with all the amenities anyone would need. The owners were easy to communicate with and overall the stay at their property was very enjoyable.

Great location. Had an amazing g time for the first time renting.

House was great love the lay out. Just a few minor things could be updated. A bit more seating not enough. Put game long ways and put seats next to it with table. In master bdrm. Blinds need fixing its broken. Akso in the room with bunk beds and no hdmi cable for TV had to go buy. The room across had no TV just VHS for kids. Despite the few minor things house was amazing. Reccomend to coming this year again.

Home away from home

We had an amazing stay at this wonderful property. The entire family hung out and the kids had a blast with the foosball and air hockey. After a short hike, we all enjoy the jacuzzi on the back patio. Amanda was readily available when I had questions. It was a rejuvenating weekend for the entire family and we can't wait to go back.

a stunning experience

i came to stay at this property with my family for my birthday, which i haven’t celebrated the past two years, because it always ends up sucking, but staying here made all the difference. i felt so at home! the property was so nice, and so clean! The hot tub really came in handy as well. Amanda was so sweet, she gave me a call before i got to the property to make sure everything was going alright, and made sure to let me know she was a winks if i had any issues or question. 100% would stay again!

Perfect for Family with kids!

Such a cute house! The location was amazing, right by Snow Summit and very close to Bear Mountain. There was a ski rental place at the end of the main street which was very convenient. My boys, 4 and 7, loved the air hockey table and the hot tub. Amanda was great with communication. We will definitely be coming back to stay here. This will be our go-to place at Big Bear!

Five star property

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Amanda's beautiful home! The home is equipped with high end furnishings and the kitchen has top-knotch appliances and everything you need to cook a fabulous meal! The interior is well laid out and very spacious, and the hot tub was also top notch. House was also very clean, both inside and outside. Location is great and working with Amanda was easy -- she was a very welcoming and gracious host. Would highly recommend and would gladly stay here again.

Perfect and beautiful!

This home is wonderful! From the fireplace to the comfortable beds to the hot tub it was perfect! The common area (living room, kitchen) was open and spacious leaving plenty of room to feel comfortable yet cozy! We will definitely stay here again!

Hi and welcome to our cabin. Mike and I(Amanda) have two adult children, Zack and Sydney We are an active family and have been vacationing with our kids and family and friends in Big Bear now for 20 years. It never gets old. summer or winter there is always something fun to do

Why they chose this property

We bought this house in 2002 so our family could enjoy all the great activities Big Bear has to offer. Our kids love it for the great skiing/snow boarding at Snow Summit and Bear Mountain Resorts. We love to go off-roading (we have a Rhino) at Cactus flats and Big Pine flats. My favorite thing to do in the summer is take our boat out on the lake and explore the coves and have a picnic. In the last few years I have also taken up mountain biking, which is challenging but exhilarating among the beautiful scenery on top of Summit mountain.

What makes this property unique

We chose this cabin because of it's Location and family friendly open floor plan living. We are walking distance to the ski slopes and convenient stores. It is great for enjoying games and watching movies together in front of the fire. We love that it is on a flat street for easy parking and getting around. When our kids were young we loved to play in the then vacant lot next to our house and the front and back yards. We have built plenty of snowmen and had lots of snowball wars here. Our kids are adults now so they take there own vacations with there friends here to go skiing and mountain biking. I know you will enjoy it as much as we do!
