We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Nichole’s cottage! It is delightfully appointed with Adirondack inspired furnishings and all of the conveniences of home. Nichole is extremely responsive to all questions and any concerns that may arise, she responds to immediately. Enjoy!
We had a family reunion in Nearby, Saint Regis Falls. I’ve always loved like Sonia. I was excited to find a cabin on the lake. The property did not disappoint. It was cozy and beautiful. We enjoyed doing some evening kayaking. Wish we could’ve actually spent more time at the cabin. Highly recommended. I will say the washing machine was not working, but it didn’t matter to us too much.
The home was clean, spacious, appealing, and comfortable. It had a very nice kitchen, porch with a great grill, and separate area upstairs. It had a lot of windows looking over the lake. My family really enjoyed the stay. Bathrooms very clean and beds were comfortable.
If you are planning to rent this place, keep in mind you have to take your trash with you. If you are staying more than a week, you may want to find a place locally to dispose of it. The kitchen cupboards had many convenient items left behind, including spices, water, paper plates, etc. That was a pleasant surprise. I wish there were a few more dishes because I had to wash the dishes multiple times per day to be sure we had clean plates.

This is what i wrote to the owner. I have had no response from her. There are a few things that I think that you should know about your rental.
It was not clean, the windows were very moldy, had not been cleaned. The porch was filthy. We had company and had to clean before they could come in, nothing was dusted or cleaned. The rug is disgusting. We did not use the grill because it hadn't been cleaned in a while. And there weren't any instructions on how to clean it. There were no instructions on what to do with the garbage removal. There was no picnic table, so we were not able to eat outside. There weren't any sofas or soft chairs to sit on downstairs, (bring one down and put the sideboard upstairs with the games.) The bunk room closet (utility room) was filthy with dead ladybugs, a quick hand vac would fix that! It would have been nice to have a dishcloth and dish towels. It would have been nice to have a wastebasket under the sink, I used the mop pail. the water upstairs is far from hot.
For the amount that we paid, we should not have had this many complaints. I used to own a camp and at the beginning of the year we gave it a thorough cleaning. This has not happened at your place. Even the boats were dirty.
There should be a notebook with instructions for the renter, as to where the light switches are located. Garbage, camp details. You need to have the air conditioners, in place and ready, renters should not have t

Renter had called several times to ask all sort of questions and not once mentioned any of her complaint's listed above until two days after she left. Once she had my number from the booking. Her calls and text messages started (year in advance). Four garbage bags worth of trash were picked up throughout the cabin after she left. She also took it upon herself to rearrange furniture to her likings. Each light switch is labeled along with a “guide” book located on that sofa table she wanted to be moved upstairs. The property features a large screened in porch with beautiful Adirondack furniture made by Amish (rockers and table) for guest to enjoy the outdoors. There is a bench that turns into a half picnic table located on the shoreline for guest to enjoy the views. Kayaks are kept outside and get weather appropriate “dirt”. Not sure why she was going in the utility closet they are meant to kept spare items but the lady bugs were vacuumed. Dish clothes and other hand towels are located in the drawer next to the stove. There are two large garbage cans located in the kitchen. She also took the time to label one of them cans. Unfortunately, I did not meet her standards. Had she brought these to my attention as I explained in a follow up email to her I would’ve been more than happy to accommodate to make her stay comfortable.
Lovely lake house, right on the water, nicely appointed, newly renovated and well maintained interior. Great amenities like coffee provided, lots of towels. Be aware that the driveway is a little tough to find especially at night, but worth the effort. We saw loons and hummingbirds! Bring your bug spray and zapper - mosquitos are awful in the early am and evenings.
Our family was looking for a place to stay for our daughter's college weekend and this was perfect. The cabin was clean and nicely decorated in an Adirondack theme. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the quiet location and loved using the kayaks in the morning. We were excited to see two bald eagles over the lake! I would highly recommend this charming cabin.
