Excellent location for the beaches, dining, water sports. Bed was incredibly comfortable. The only downfall was the unit was located by the garbage shoot. Thus, there was an occasional odor that made its way into the unit. I would stay in the unit again.

This condo has excellent views of the marina and ocean. The sunset is straight out your patio door. Condo was well equipped with snorkel gear, beach towels and dishes. Location is great, plenty of restaurants, shopping and the beach is nearby. I would recommend this condo to anyone.

Retirement Vacation

This condo unit has great views. The location is within walking distance to many restaurants giving you several dining options. There is also a convenient small grocery store across the street for essentials or snacks. The bed was super comfortable, very clean and cool with the a/c unit. Parking garage on site and also laundry services just 4 floors down. We had a great stay!

Fantastic stay in paradise

My family rented this condo initially for a 4 day stay. It was beautifully decorated and very comfortable for our family of 3. Convenient location with views of the marina and Friday night Aloha fireworks! Our contact person promptly responded to my messages and was very helpful in extending our ( unexpected) stay by 6 days! Great value for the area. Highly recommend.

Property was great comfy and decorated so you felt like you were in Hawaii. The veiw outstanding we loved every minute of our trip. The accommodations made the trip even better. Centrally located could walk to plenty to keep us busy.

Quiet but still close to the action

The property was perfect. Very clean and had a great view of the marina. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach. An added surprise, we could clearly view the Friday night fireworks on the beach from the balcony. We would definitely book this property again. The owners were very responsive.

Great place. Perfect spot no loud noise. Great view. We loved waking up to watch the harbor traffic. We lived in HI couple of years ago so this was a great place to stay while we were visiting friends on island. Clean, no issues. Great, easy and affordable parking as well. It was fantastic. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

Another awesome stay!

We have stayed many times in this condo and love it. Beautiful view for watching boats. Fireworks, and surfers. The condo has everything you need, a fully equipped kitchen, very comfy bed, air conditioning, beach towels, cable tv with a gazillion channels,I like the fact there is filtered water dispensed fromm the fridge so no need to buy any.Great location near the beach and world class shopping Management checks in with you in case you have any questions or concerns( we didn't) What's not to love!

We've used unit 1294 several times, it is well maintained, and furnishings are most pleasant. Foremost, the view is unbeatable, overlooking the marina, the expansive Pacific, with a great location. A cautious suggestion, would be for small folding chairs//stools for the Lanai area, utilization - please.

We are so pleased you are a return happy guest. We have tried many ideas about small folding chairs on the lanai. We are prohibited from storing anything on the lanai. Folding chairs end up on the beach then back again in the condo full of sand. in addition, our guests really enjoy the ample storage space that would be reduced by storage of folding chairs. My wife and I take the bar stools out on the lanai an enjoy the spectacular sunsets and fireworks. Thank you for your feed back and look forward to your return.

Perfect For Us

My wife and I had 17 trouble-free nights in this unit. Everything - keys, TVs, Internet, appliances, plumbing, etc. - worked just fine. Located in the quiet west end of Waikiki within easy walking distance to Ala Moana Park, Ala Moana Mall, Ala Wai Canal walking path and, in the other direction, all the shops, bars, and restaurants of Waikiki. Great sunsets, rainbows over Magic Island, surfers to watch, marina activity - its a great location.

Great condo and location.

Love the decor and location of this condo. On the 12th floor at the far left of the building overlooking the marina. Unit is farthest away from the elevators and next to trash chute. Odors from trash chute apparent when waking in and small roaches in the kithen possibly due to its proximity. Jetted tub not working and very high to step into. Wish it had a balcony to chill on outside but the lanai was nice to see the Friday night firworks over the lagoon. Would stay again,hopefully small issues are resolved.

Wonderful location!

Great location, & a quiet, very well maintained condo. Unit is a little dark & small but adequate, & furnishings are very nice. Could use some new pillows on the bed & more light in dressing area. Food storage & counter space is a real issue. There are no cabinets available after grocery shopping. Overall we were very satisfied & had a wonderful time.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay. The views and sounds from the room are relaxing. I never did figure out the parking situation. I did pay $140 for a 5 day pass, and it worked once. There really is nobody that can help. The security guard seemed shocked that someone would ask him a question about the parking pay station that was just around the corner from his post. Btw, the room has a great view of the Hilton fireworks.

This property was awesome. Localization is 10/10, with a beautiful view of the ocean. Well-equipped kitchen, cable TV, and everything that a family would need for a holiday. The owner was super responsive and polite. I would stay here 10 times again. Garage is nextdoor to the main entry, but it's a bit tricky. It costs $28 per 24 hours, but when you enter the first time, you need to purchase a long stay ticket from a kiosk on the wall, on the left, not the one at the entry gate, which is for short stays. Just purchase for as many days as your stay, and you can exit and enter multiple times. In short, book and you will not regret it. Loved everything!

Great location and view

The condo is as pictured. The neighborhood location is great ... very walkable to beach, restaurants, shopping, etc. The view is fantastic and the location of the condo in the building is great also - very quiet end unit. All of our communications were good. The only "con" is the very deep jetted tub with shower enclosure in the bathroom desperately needs to be replaced. I think it is impossible to clean that area fully, so appears to have some mold issues. Also, it is very high to step in and out of. Another challenge for some might be the lack of a dishwasher. We don't mind handwashing, so no big deal other than the design of the sink vs counter space makes it a bit difficult. We had a great stay and would happily stay here again.

Clean, quiet and within walking distance of beaches and shopping

Our condo was great! It was clean, quiet, temperature controlled and decorated with a traditional Hawaiian feel. So grateful to have a full kitchen to cut costs on food. Conveniently within walking distance of the lagoon and ocean beaches that we visited nightly. Only a few buildings away from the Hilton, allowed us to visit their outdoor shopping village and enjoy their nighttime drone show and fireworks from our balcony. The view of the marina and ocean waves, along with the sunrise and sunset was absolutely beautiful. One of the days, the entire building was without water from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, for repairs. The owners responded to my text messages within minutes. They also gave me updates when they had them. Long-term parking pass was a bit confusing. But, the parking garage staff was helpful. Be aware that the washer and dryer is community coin-operated. It is not within the unit. Overall, would recommend to anyone looking to vacation in Oahu.

Comfortable Place to Stay

This is my 3rd time staying at the Ilikai Marina. Management was quick to respond to my problems of standing water in the shower and plunger in bathroom sink was stuck in the down position during shaving. Unfortunately the maid that was called in to resolve the problem was a little gruff. She made it seem my hair was the reason to a clogged shower drain (I'm partially bald) and what idiot pushed the plunger in on the bathroom sink. Regardless, the problem was resolved. The unit does need an update/refresh, the bedspread was torn in one corner and slider to the balcony does not lock, however I don't feel anyone would enter from being on the 12th floor. Overall, the unit is comfortable and the unit is in a prime location, which is why I always choose the Ilikai Marina. The unit also has all the amenities one would want for being on vacation.

Great condo with terrific views

Ilikai Marina Condo #1294 was the perfect vacation home for me and my son. The location right on the marina provides magnificent sunsets and it’s fun watching the boats, surfers and marine life from the lanai. We saw a turtle and a shark in the water right below the condo. The kitchen is well stocked and has a fridge with tasty filtered water and ice. It doesn’t have a dishwasher. A few of the dishes were not very clean unfortunately. I noticed some grease on the plastic glasses. But that was a minor inconvenience. The master bed has a dip in the middle, but it was comfortable. My son was happy with the pull out couch. There is plenty of storage to put away clothes and shoes. The air conditioning works great and water pressure in the shower is good. We didn’t hear any noise from the neighbors, which was another really great thing about the place! There is parking in the building for $23/day. Overall we were very happy with our stay!

Thank you for your concerns. The mattress is only 2 years old. The center frame of the the bed frame broke. A new frame is being delivered tomorrow. My wife and I are in the unit now. This issue is corrected and you will enjoy a good nights sleep. Mahalo Jim

Overall this condo is GREAT! We loved being up high and on an end unit. Did not hear any riff-raff from the mariana below. Loved getting up and watching the surfers everyday. Friday afternoon around 5pm all the sail-boats left the mariana what a beautiful sight. Watched the fireworks from the balcony Friday night did not realize how close they were going to be. AC worked GREAT which we love because that is part of what your paying for when renting a unit is to feel nice and cool after being outside in the heat/sun all day. Kitchen very well stocked with all your needs and wants. Living room furniture was nice and a bonus that there were two tv's in the unit. Bed was very comfortable and loved that there were extra blankets for lounging on the couch. Totally loved that there were two fans to circulate the air. We are both fan folks can not sleep without the noise of them. Ease of getting in condo for the first time with great communication by email with the owners. Our only complaints are: bathroom shower mat looks very old and dirty could use a new one, bathroom not cleaned very well soap scum on the glass bowl sink and the trim in the shower area. I also don't think the entire floor was cleaned very well as I was walking around the first day in my white socks and after unpacking I looked at my feet and my socks were very dirty from the floor. Wish there was a safe in the condo for cash and jewelry felt like we had to hide both everytime we left the condo. The last thing is the condo is VERY dark and lamps do not light it up enough. Some new brighter lamps would be great. We got a text in advance that the water would be off the next day from 9am -4pm so we took showers before leaving for the day. When we returned the water was back on. We understand that this issue was out of the owners control but the advance text was GREAT! We would for sure rent this unit again it has a very homey feel. Maybe a few upgrades would be nice tho. So overall our rating is a 4 not a 5 for the money this is a great unit to rent for your Hawaiian vacation.
