Gorgeous property, truly feel like you are on vacation. Neil is very accommodating and sets you up with everything you need for a wonderful trip. Will be returning.
We loved our time here! The apartment is very spacious, bright, and clean. It is very well equipped (kitchen, bath, beach towels, etc.). There was nothing that we missed during our month-long stay. The proximity to the beach and Laniakea is unbeatable. During beach walks one can often see turtles and monk seals.Overall, I cannot rate this place highly enough and I hope we will be able to rteurn soon.
This property shares a double or triple-sized lot with another property. There is a common lawn with no fences or boundary markings, so you have uninterrupted, breath-taking views of a large expanse of lawn and ocean. The view can be enjoyed at the picnic table by the ocean, in the living room, on the deck, and in each of the three ocean-facing bedrooms. In addition, the sounds of the surf are prominent, which my wife and others who stayed with us particularly enjoyed. When one can tear oneself away from the view and the ocean sounds, the property itself is delightful. The four bedrooms all have very comfortable beds. The kitchen is very well equipped. (There's a separate refrigerator for drinks). The living room has excellent light for reading. The location is great. Foodland (for groceries) is 1.7 miles, Haleiwa (for multiple restaurants) is less than 4 miles. We saw turtles and whales from the property, and watched surfers just off shore. Driving to the Banzai Pipeline (3.0 miles), we watched a professional surfing competition. There are many other activities close by. We took surfing lessons at a beach just before reaching Haleiwa, went kayaking (seeing rays) and standup paddle boarding in Haleiwa, went to the Toa Luau (the MC was great!), snorkeled, and swam. And then came back to that great view!Highest recommendation. Stay here if you can. I've already requested reservations for next year.
We were here to celebrate our 20th Anniversary and it was the best! The beach was beautiful and private. The water was clear, And falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the ocean is my favorite! The kitchen had what we needed, and I was comfortable hanging out on the furniture. Thanks Robert! We will be back!!! I miss it already!
We spent 5 amazing days at Chun’s Reef Beach in the main house. We got to watch surfers every day, had whale sightings daily and also saw sea turtles. The water is very choppy so I wouldn’t recommend going in the water until the summer months, but the protected volcanic rock tide pools kept our kids entertained for hours. Location is fantastic, property is quite rustic but it just adds to the Hawaiian appeal. Would absolutely recommend and stay here again!
Wonderful house in a great North Shore location. Close to Haleiwa, Waimea, Sunset. The beach right across the street at Alligator Rock was perfect for our 18-month-old grandson, with protected areas behind the rock that blocked the sometimes large surf. Mike was so gracious and accommodating, and easy to communicate with. The house is stunning and very well equipped -- beach supplies, towels, kitchenware, spices and sauces. All you need to bring is food and beverage.
Mahalo to Mike and Summer. Our family is already dreaming about a return visit!
Great house with amazing views built as close to the ocean as you can find. Ashley was very responsive and the house offered everything you would need.
We hope to come back!
