A refreshing morning swim in crystal clear pool, an invigorating bike ride through woods and marshes on the Breakwater Trail; relaxing on the beach with a good book; playing in the waves with the kids; afternoon tennis; the spectacular sunsets from the second floor deck while watching cyclists return from a day on the trail; an ice cream cone and a relaxing evening stroll down Rehoboth’s famous boardwalk. These are the memories you and your family will have after enjoying a week in this beautiful new townhouse in Rehoboth Beach, DE.

New in 2008, this beautifully furnished and fully appointed 2,500 square foot townhouse can be yours for a week or two of summer fun in the Nation’s Summer Capital. Located east of Route One a short distance off Rehoboth Avenue in the popular Canal Pointe community, this three story, three bedroom, 3 ½ bath town home is ideal for those who enjoy the beach but also enjoy quiet summer evenings on the deck or patio away from the noise and commotion of downtown Rehoboth Beach.

The furnishings are a beachy, comfy, colorful, & eclectic. There’s plenty of room for everyone to gather around the large dining room table or escape with a good book to one of three cozy living areas. The first floor has a game room with poker table, queen sleeper sofa, television and ipod speakers, a bedroom with twin beds that convert to a king, a full bath and laundry room. Off the entrance foyer is a garage with six bicycles and a shower for rinsing off the sand after a day at the beach.

The second floor has a living room, dining room table that seats eight, a kitchen/family room combination with fireplace, large plasma screen TV and ipod compatible stereo, breakfast room that seats 6 alongside a kitchen counter with 3 stools. The second floor deck overlooks a small picturesque pond and is ideally positions to enjoy the awesome sunsets of Summer.

The third floor has two master bedrooms; one with King bed, retreat with chaise lounge and overstuffed chair, a large bathroom with separate shower and soaking tub. The other bedroom has a Queen bed with private bath.

Bring your own sheets (deep mattress pockets), beach and bath towels. No need to over-pack since a full sized washer and dryer are available. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, range, frig with ice-maker, micro-wave and dishwasher.

Rehoboth is true resort town. It has beautiful shady streets, lakes, nice boardwalk with 'Funland' attractions, clean beaches, and restaurants for every taste, volleyball games at the beach, and, of course exceptional shopping. Boutiques line Rehoboth Avenue and there are several outlet malls along Route 1. Restaurants range from pizza delivery to ethnic and fine gourmet dining. Of course no week at the beach is complete without a night of junk food on the boardwalk! Families with young children can enjoy afternoons at our area's water parks: Jungle Jim's & White Water Mountain.

Rehoboth is rapidly becoming more than just a summer vacation destination as people are discovering the less crowded yet seasonally pleasant shoulder months of September and May. Shoppers flock year round to the Tanger Outlets and Rehoboth Beach Main Street have organized nationally acclaimed festivities such as the Sea Witch and Fiddler's Festival, Rehoboth Independent Film Festival, and Jazz Festival. Not far up the bay is the historic town of Lewes. Easily reachable by car, the best way to visit Lewes is by bicycle. Our townhome is on the Breakwater Trail which is a seven mile bike path though farms, woods, and marsh/wetlands. It offers spectacular views of marsh, creeks, birds, and other wildlife. Take a leisurely one hour ride to Lewes; enjoy a great lunch in one of Lewes’ eclectic restaurant and make a spirited ride back in time for a dip in the ocean.

Golfers will enjoy the many golf courses in the area and fisherman can enjoy casting right off the surf at Cape Henlopen or Indian River or catch a ride on one of the head boats leaving Lewes or Indian River daily. Rehoboth’s beach is long deep and clean. An excellent beach for walkers, you can hike up to the WWII tower, a relic of patrols for submarines and foreign landing parties. For those who like parks, 15-minute drive to Lewes will bring you to Henlopen State Park with its beaches, hiking, biking, or exploring. Also try Gordon’s Pond State Park for beautiful vistas over inland saltwater ponds. If you like parties, drive (two miles) to Dewey Beach. The Rusty Rudder restaurant has music and dancing on a deck right on Rehoboth Bay. It also offers excellent seafood and buffet. Next to 'Rusty' is 'Crabber Cove' for those who like unlimited crabs and don’t miss Que Pasa, a true beach bar.

Enjoy town's boardwalk for early morning walks and watch the dolphins frolic in the surf just off shore. The beautiful grass barrier on the town's boardwalk has grown and wooden paths go thru it to the beach. Early bikes on boardwalk OK.

About Alan

We've been vacationing in Rehoboth for over 25 years. We love the beaches and the eclectic vibrancy of Rehoboth Blvd. Our kids love the freedom of walking downtown or strolling down the beach to party in Dewey. Finally in 2008 we decided it was time to make our enjoyment of the area more permanent and purchased a beautiful new townhome in a quiet neighborhood where we were close to all the action but could escape to a serene environment when we we're ready to relax.

Alan purchased this townhome in 2008

Peaceful family getaway

  • 5 of 5

This was our first time renting property through vacation rentals and pleased from the beginning with the quick response from the property owner. The photos and description of the town home was spot on...the home itself is very spacious with comfortable furnishings and well appointed kitchen. The community in which the property is located is peaceful and a lovely place to walk, jog or bike (close to scenic bike trail ). We are a family of four with twin daughters age 7. Our kids loved being so close to the pool and enjoyed the game room during our down time. This property is the perfect location to stay and enjoy all that Rehoboth has to offer. It is close to the beach, restaurants and shopping.

Absolutely Stunning Home!

  • 5 of 5

My family & I stayed in this amazing home in July 2010, and had a wonderful experience. The house is beautiful with a lovely beachy decor, and all the comforts of home. The house is very large and had everything we could possibly need! The pool is gigantic, where there were never more than 5 other people there, so we pretty much had it to ourselves the entire week! Cannot say enough about our stay here, there was truly nothing else that could have been done to make it a better stay, it was just perfect! Also, the home owners were so accomodating and nice to work with during the rental agreement, truly wonderful people!
