Welcome to your home away from home! Tucked in a quiet neighborhood just 5 minutes from KU Med & the shops, restaurants, bars and coffee spots of 39th street/Westport area. Just 10 min to Power & Light and 16 min to Arrowhead! This home features private parking, huge yard for your pups/kids to play in & fire pit! The home is beautifully decorated keeping all of your vacation needs in mind. Get ready to kick back & relax while enjoying your time in Kansas City! Long-term stays (30+ days) welcome!

I’m available 24/7. If you need me please message me through the app. Nothing is too big or too small. I love to help!

The home is close to KU Med (can see from the living room), 39th ST shops and restaurants, 47th St Corridor, Woodside, Plaza, Westport, and just up the hill from Mission Rd & I35 with easy highway access. Can get anywhere in minutes and close to all the action.

Guests can use the entire home, driveway, and yard.

This recently remodeled space is equipped with:

Kansas City offers multiple ride share services like Uber and Lyft, Bird scooters, RideKC, Ride KC bike and plenty others. The residence is close to shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. If you need help getting anywhere let me know and I will help.

You can park on the street or on the driveway.

Long concrete driveway for all your parking needs! The base of the driveway is a tad narrow so be mindful coming in and out. It’s narrower than most driveways.

The house is on a hill.

The house has a fence but it is not all the way fenced in.

Absolutely no parties.

Nice Home

We enjoyed our stay. The home was clean, amenities were as described and the host made routine contact to make sure we had everything we needed and were comfortable. Highly recommend and would stay here again!

cute house - has potential

Very cute property and Ashley was quick to respond. Unfortunately, the cleaning company doesn't do their job. Dog hair all over dishes in upper cabinets, beds made with sheets on wrong. No cleaning supplies available for me to re-clean and feel better in space. Neighbors rude

I just moved cross country with my family and booked the house for 6 weeks until our home was ready. First impressions were not good. Tree limbs were down all over the yard, grass was uncut, a portion of the deck was crumbling and cobwebs were all over the front porch. So, it was evident from the get go that the house was not well maintained.The inside was not any better. The bathroom shower curtain had to be peeled apart and bright pink mold/algae was all over it. Dust had accumulated on all the vents throughout the house and the carpets were, and I cannot express this enough, FILTHY. We immediately contacted the host asking for a refund because this was not what we had paid for, but she refused stating it needed to be canceled weeks in advance. The host did agree to have the liner replaced and bathroom cleaned but this never came about because I was not about to wait days for someone while my children lived in that. I ended up going out and buying a bunch of cleaning supplies, mop, and dirt devil to do it myself.Some other small things; the dishwasher was broken from the first day, garage is locked and the biggest closet in the house is locked. I was willing to let this all go and just lean into a bad situation, but once we left, the host is claiming "significant dirtiness left behind" and confiscated our security deposit. The house was left in much better condition than when we arrived. I feel she is just using this situation to get what she can from us.

Very Disappointing - Poor Interaction

I booked this property and then had a family emergency and could not complete the trip. I contacted the host and asked if she could try to rent the place to someone else due to my inability to come to KC - but I understood if not (I had already prepaid). I asked her to help me out with a partial refund (of the pet fees and I asked her if she could forego the cleaning fees since we were never even there and so no cleaning was needed) - I had a big ER bill to pay. She was very vague and unresponsive - and suggested she would provide some kind of discount for a future trip but never told me how much and never responded again after I asked her a couple of times for details. I did book another VRBO this summer with another host - but would not recommended staying here with a host that charges for things that were no cost to her, and was very non-communicative. Had she been open and honest and not charged me after the dates of the stay (for non-existent cleaning and pet fees) I would have re-booked.

Just Okay

We stayed for Christmas. Cons: There was no baking pans. Coffee Keurig hadn't been cleaned in a while. Kitchen table dirty. Steep and narrow driveway. Used dove soap in bedroom. Pros: Close to downtown. Firm bed if you like those. Heat worked extra good. Nice pit out back. Hot water, which I like. All in all it was okay. Not worth the rate per night though.

Nice place to rent

Nicely situated. Beautifully redecorated interior with upscale appointments. Well equipped kitchen. TV has lots of streaming programming choices. Pet friendly. Would definitely stay here again, and that's the key.

Wedding stay

Ashley the manager was always so helpful and quick to respond. The house was well located for us and had everything we needed. It was clean and had new appliances, HVAC and an updated bathroom. The bathroom door did squeak which could easily be fixed. The driveway is narrow but my truck was able to get in and out okay. It would be nice if the back yard was fenced as it would be easier for people with dogs. We were in town for a wedding. I was able to find a local pet sitter while we were at the wedding as it is in a central location. We had a great family stay.

This property is ADORABLE! I would live there if I could. It is close to everything you would want to see in Kansas City and highway access is close by. You are close to the city but also have woods surrounding you. It is the perfect balance of privacy and proximity.
