Villa Irena is located in Vipavski Križ and it belongs to one of the most beautiful monuments in Slovenia. 500 years old house is entirely renovated and designed for a relaxing getaway in charming Vipava valley.

The house has two floors. On the bottom floor there is a kitchen, dining area, bathroom, and a small fireplace. Up the Finnish stairs is the bedroom with a double bed and a couch that turns in to a bed. An authentic feature of the house is the terrace covered with vines. There you will find a table and chairs or a hammock which is perfect for hot summer evenings.

Perfect vacation

Nice apartment, very warm vwelcome from the host. All the local ammenities explained. Irena reserved our dinners in the nice local restaurants. All together very nice stay, and we will return for a more walks around Vipava valley.

Charming and cozy

This place is adorable. We felt like we were in the Snow White cottage. Irena gave us plenty of info beforehand so we knew what to look for with parking and directions. And when we looked slightly confused with our suitcases, a local escorted us to the front door where Irena was waiting. The town is adorable with friendly merchants and the woman who works at the monastery even gave us a private tour. Very cool. Would definitely love to spend more time in the area and wish we had more than one night. One note: if you have a hard time with stairs, they are steep and unique. Totally doable, but a little challenging in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom.

Tolles Ambiente in einem historischen Haus (das schönste in Vipavski Kriz!). Eingerichtet mit allem Komfort. Perfekte Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin. Sehr gut gelegen für Ausflüge zu den Höhlen, guter Ausgangspunkt zur Fadfahrten (aufgrund der Höhenunterschiede sind e-bikes sehr zu empfehlen). Sogar unsere Räder konnten wir gesichert abstellen.

Villa Irena is a wonderfull house in a beautifull village. Cars are not allowed in the village; it's so quiet and you can really feel history. House is located in a small village on top of the hill surrounded by Vipava Valley.
The house is definitely worth a visit, a unique experience!
