This 2 bedroom cabin with bonus loft for additional sleeping space is located on a quiet cul de sac at Schuss Mountain in Shanty Creek Resort. The cabin boasts many upgrades in the kitchen and living area. Rest assured, you will sleep well in one of our two king sized beds. For those traveling with larger parties our loft area (bedroom 3) includes a full size bed with a plush mattress for your comfort. Don’t forget to take full advantage of our wood burning fireplace during those colder seasons. The adventure does not stop within the cottage though. If you prefer to stay near the resort, you will love the endless opportunities Shanty Creek has to offer. Year round excitement including 5 renowned golf courses, both down hill and cross country skiing, alpine tubing, chair lift rides for fall color tours, trails to hike and bike, an outdoor pool, and an onsite shopping village with restaurants and bars including Starbucks. This convenient location in Bellaire is within an hour to popular northern Michigan destinations such as Traverse City, Petoskey, and Charlevoix. But if you prefer to stay in town, downtown Bellaire is home to many unique shops as well as great local food and beverage options including the very popular Short’s Brewing, Bee Well Meadery, Hello Vino, and Mammoth Distilling. Our cabin includes access to:
1. The Kliffendorf neighborhood outdoor hooted pool (seasonal) as well as parking for trailers, boats, etc. These are both only a short 5 minute walk.
2. Heated outdoor pool (seasonal), and heated indoor pool and hot tub at Lakeview Hotel. This is located about 10 minutes from the cabin.
4. Free and safe resort shuttle that runs between the Lakeview Hotel and downtown Bellaire.

1. Shanty Town which is right outside of the Lakeview Hotel and includes restaurants and the Shanty Bar.

You'll only be 35 minutes from Turtle Creek Casino and an hour from Odawa Casino. Take a day to explore the unique towns nearby. Less than an hour away you'll find Alden, Elk Rapids, Traverse City, Charlevoix, and Petoskey. Other trips that are about 1 1/2 hours away include Mackinac Island and Sleeping Bear Dunes. The possibilities are endless!
