This house is in a gorgeous location with spectacular views of the area. An all wheel vehicle is best for winter access. The host was great to work with.
House was very comfortable for our 5 adults. The views were amazing and it was very peaceful. It is a bit of a drive. 11 winding miles with the last three gravel/dirt. I hugely recommend it to anyone wanting to get away from it all in a beautiful natural setting.
I booked this home so a few friends and I could come up from Denver and ski for the week. The house was easy to find and the listing pictures don’t do the home justice, it was gorgeous and had everything we needed to hang out and cook for the week. I brought my dogs and the neighborhood was perfect to walk them around before and after ski days. I would definitely stay again.
We had such a great time at this property. I can’t wait to stay here again, especially during the summer. The sunrises and sunsets were gorgeous. The property manager was attentive, responsive, and super nice. The pictures actually do not do this property justice. I would highly recommend this for anyone that is OK with a little bit of a drive to have a little more space for your family
Beautiful property away from all the hustle and bustle. If you love nature and prefer staying in a place that is private and remote rather than a crowded town than this is the place for you. A great plus was that we were able to bring our dogs. We went skiing every day and it took us only 20 minutes to get to the skiing area. However, in winter (snow) you would want to have four-wheel drive. Our family enjoyed our stay immensely and we will definitely be back.
The house is perfect, it’s updated, has an open floor plan, great kitchen with plenty of cookware, plates and silverware, as well as all the necessary appliances. The bedrooms are good sized, the master is large.
There is a great family room upstairs plenty of overflow room if you have extra guests.
Brad is very accommodating and super responsive. Our family was there over Christmas and needed some assistance on Christmas Eve. He was so kind and made arrangements to get us pulled out of the snow, even offered to drive us into town because we were stuck!
This is a great house, the location is good if you’re looking for a quiet getaway, about 20 minutes from Steamboat Mountain.
You definitely need 4 wheel drive vehicle in the winter.
Thanks Brad for an amazing Christmas!
Great place to get up to the mountains and get away from it all
The whole process went smoothly and we loved the seclusion it offered. A bit of a drive to town and the area, but nothing too excessive. Very pretty in the hills and our family enjoyed the space immensely.
My friends and I had a wonderful time staying in this home - it was beautifully furnished and large, accommodating 4 couples with room to spare! The photos of the property don't do it justice - the property itself was beautiful and had wonderful sunsets. Communication with the owners was seamless and easy, and we would definitely recommend it to friends for the cost, location (22 mins to Steamboat Base) and charm.
The property has been very well remodeled with lots of room for our two families. Brad was very helpful and communicative throughout the whole process.
my favorite part was the kitchen! visited with a group of friends that enjoys cooking, so it was great that we could all sit around the island & be a part of the cooking experience!
We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. The views are incredible, inside and out! The house has an open, bright kitchen, comfortable spaces to relax, and very nice bedrooms. .We loved the hiking/snowshoe trail the owners have created, with spectacular views of the Yampa Valley. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. Would love to return.
This was an amazing place for our group of friends to hang out. Made it really easy to be able to bring the pups too. About 15-20 minutes away from free Meadows parking at steamboat
This house is lovely- pictures don't do it justice especially on the size & views! It's well-decorated, and bit more sophisticated so my only concern would be people that want to stay with little ones: glass tables, large vases, wood-burning stove, etc. The kitchen has pretty much all you could want. The house is completely set-up for coming in from the snowy, wet weather: mudrooms in both the front entrance & the garage. The dining table was large enough for our group of 7 to eat dinner and play games at night. We had two families: one with 1 teenager, and the other with two teens. There was enough room for all of us. The one teen slept in the office, and that was the only downside- having a tall 17yr old on foldout futon- but she didn't complain. Too tired from night skiing and snowmobiling! Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Wooded setting on nine acres with trails throughout. Wonderful neighbors and five-mile loop for walkers.
What makes this property unique
Opportunity to stay in Steamboat away from the crowds, but close enough to be in town in fifteen minutes.
