A very nice Courtyard Villa that is centrally located close to Lake Sumpter Landing. The Lanai and Courtyard are very nice and a great place to sit and relax.

Wonderful Rental!

Rental layout was very convenient with two bedrooms at separate ends. Decently decorated. Kitchen has basics but lacks serving dishes. Backyard is big but gets leaves from a pin oak tree next door. Quiet neighborhood with friendly persons but lots of rentals. Great location so close to CR 466 where shopping is done. Walking distance to Winifred pool.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was in a good location but it needs some love. The flooring is broken and needs replaced. My FIL cut his feet on the flooring. The bed was so uncomfortable that we woke up with back pain every morning. The furniture was very uncomfortable as well. Bottom line if they want to get that much rent they need to upgrade

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here for 2 months while waiting for our house to be completed, and it had everything we needed to feel at home. The location is ideal; close to Publix and shopping one direction, and Sumter Landing the other. The villa itself is a charming haven with the private fenced back patio and lanai. The appliances are all new, so cooking meals and doing laundry is easy. Though it was HOT during our summer stay, we did use the grill and golf cart a couple of times. The furnishings are not brand new, but everything is clean and comfortable. It's everything we needed and at a great value. The neighborhood is lovely, and the people friendly. Down Home Management made the check-in and out process a breeze. We highly recommend this villa for a stay in the Villages!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the 4th house we have rented in The Villages and it was a little disappointing. Yes, we had a great stay, and the house was fine, but improvements are needed.The floor was peeling and bubbling in some places. The original pillows on the bed were dirty, but we changed them for others in the house. The knives & scissors were dull and were not useful. We did not find the bed to be comfortable. There was definitely a lack of info compared to other houses (e.g. How to use the sleep number bed.) There were many leaves in the backyard when we came that were never cleaned up. We cleaned up the ones at the front door. The vacuum cleaner was not as effective on the rugs as we would have liked.Now we did have a very good stay here. The house is attractively furnished. The living room furniture was comfortable. Loved that there was a full length mirror! The backyard had a small table and comfortable chairs. We would have loved a lounge chair also. The mural on the back fence was very pretty. It was in a convenient location.DHPM, as always, was very responsive to the few minor problems we had while we were there. We highly recommend DHPM.

Basecamp for experiencing The Villages

Property was as advertised. Management team was excellent to work with. A/C went out and management team immediately contacted owner and put us up overnight in hotel in the villages until the A/C was fixed the next day. Some cosmetic work needs performed on the back patio but we let the management team know and I am sure they and owner will address those issues. Would stay again.
