About the host
Hosted by Liz & Louis

Liz and I have both worked in international and national health and well-being and are both interested in traditional and alternative health experiences. With all six children turning adults, we now can travel frequently, mainly in southern Asia and have a great base in Rotterdam centre (Netherlands). We love our guests and friends from across the globe and are open to meet new ones.
We have many positive guest reviews on Louis' sold apartment in Baltimore and our Rotterdam pied-a-terre. We reside mostly in Europe, yet our interests continue to evolve, through travelling & working, absorbing the world's rich nature, cultures, spirituality & religions, especially in South Asia (India, Tibet, Nepal, Thailand).

Why they chose this property
It is a great pied-a-terre in Rotterdam to own, as children and grandchildren are living in the area and there are lots of nice and familiar places to visit for ourselves and with our friends. Louis came to study and work at Erasmus University and never really left.
When we are not there, a befriended couple in the house is taking care of things. They can support guests and can make arrangements at request.

What makes this property unique
Our renovated townhouse is part of a series of six as part of a building that was the first to be built as part of the city's late-19th century city extension plan. This plan included all the present singels around inside the Rotterdam Centre. To get an idea, please, see the old building in the black-and-white picture, that still includes cows!
