Welcome to La Tassetière, a lovely rural cottage restored in 2010, quietly located in Houssay (necessities are available in the village) and about ten kilometers from the Vendôme TGV train station (ideal for trips to Tours or Paris). Near your accommodation, you will find hiking and cycling trails, among fields, vineyards, and the Loir River. You're just a few minutes from Vendôme, where you can stroll and discover a pretty town steeped in history. Don't miss Lavardin, one of the most beautiful villages in France, or the troglodyte village of Trôo, the gardens of Plessis-Sasnières, or La Possonière (Ronsard's birthplace). In summer, world cultures come together at the Montoire Traditional Dance and Music Festival (8 km away).
