The Conch Inn

Wonderful. Loved the location and proximity to the beach. Uncrowded just as we like. The home is appointed wonderfully and super comfortable. Excellent communications with the hosts, although all we need to contact them for was to make our reservations for next season. 5 stars!

Relaxing beach vacation

Our stay at Conch Inn was delightful, and my entire family had a great time. The house has a very functional layout, and is provides a good mix of private areas and gathering areas. The view from the front decks was excellent, and the beach was so close!

Our group of 5 adults enjoyed our stay at the Conch Inn at Morgantown Fort Morgan. There was plenty of space for us to spread out when needed and to come together for meals. The house had everything we needed to make our trip comfortable. And its super close to the beach.

Great location and great house that met all our needs. Well stocked kitchen with everything we needed as far as utensils. Will definitely use this house again.

Spring Break

We loved our stay at this house. It has great view and an easy walk to the beach. Morgantown was so peaceful and quiet. The boys enjoyed the pool, playing pickleball, and shore fishing. It’s a short drive into Gulf Shores for dining etc.

Perfect Stay!

The Conch Inn is great! We have stayed in Morgantown several times with this being our first stay here. We loved everything about it. Well stocked kitchen and beds were comfortable. Easy access to the beach and the views are great. We will definitely be back!

Family Beach Vacation

We had a great stay. The location was perfect. It was a just a short walk to the beach. We could come back to the house for lunch or if we forgot something very easily. With having a baby in our group it was also great for her naps. Location was quiet but close enough to the busier areas and great restaurants. We cooked several nights and had everything we needed for a group of 8. I would definitely recommend this house.

Beautiful home with amazing views

We loved everything about this house! Offered lots of room inside. There was just 3 of us but could have slept many more. The views from the decks were amazing!! Also loved being so close to the boardwalk to the beach! We come to Gulf Shores area a couple of times a year and would stay here again.

Spring Break 2023

We had a wonderful stay at The Conch Inn. Everything was well maintained and clean. The location was great--a very short walk to the beach. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the 2nd story balcony listening to the ocean. We were even able to spot some dolphins! Thank you so much for sharing your beach home with us!

Perfect Location

This house was wonderful! Perfectly located near the neighborhood beach access so that you are literally just a few steps from the beach. The kitchen is well stocked - I was able to make everything from a seared sirloin roast with potatoes to pizza bites without needing dishes. Everyone had plenty of space and a comfy bed. We will definitely be back!

Great Morgantown Location!

We have been staying in the Fort Morgan area for a number of years and found The Conch Inn to be a great place to stay. You can't beat the location's beach access. The water hoses near the lower and upper entrances to the house were helpful in keeping sand inside the house to a minimum. We did experience a problem with the refridgerator upon arrival, which was promptly addressed by the owners. The kitchen is nice and big and well-appointed, which was great for our group as we all love to cook. We hope to come back next year!

Exceeds Expectations

This house was perfect for our girls getaway (+ a few children)! The boardwalk is literally right next to the house and then there is the beach! We saw dolphins nearly each day at this location. This house is very well-maintained and feels like a home away from home! The owners are so easy to work with. We will definitely return in the future.

Beautiful home!

I stayed at Conch Inn with another Mom and our combined total of 4 teens. Even though we didn't have the greatest weather we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were able to enjoy a few beach days, went shopping, golfing, played cards, enjoyed the pool, and went to the movies on some of the cooler days. The location is remote enough to feel like you are away from everything, but close enough to visit town if you choose. The house is absolutely perfect to enjoy together time and alone time. It was tastefully decorated with a home away from home feel. We loved the close proximity to the beach. We couldn't ask for a more comfortable home and hope to be back again.

Wonderful Home

I can finally leave a review. We have been wanting to visit gulf shores for 3 years and finally it happened. Hurricane Ida delayed it by a bit but Kay the owner worked with us and we reschedule until the spring. I absolutely love this home. Beach access is great right across the street. We were able to come back for meals and leave all of our stuff at the beach. Dollar stores very close by so you didn’t have to go into town. Gulf shores was just a short trip and we found that we like the house and the private beaches better then the hustle and bustle of condo life and in town. This home came with everything!!!!! We loved be able to communicate with the owner directly and took care of it as if it were Our own! I would book this 100% again! Thank you Kay and Donny!

This was our personal beach house for 12 years. It is maintained to our high personal standards regarding maintenance and cleanliness. The property was a custom home built and features many fine amenities. It has very fine furnishings and is extremely clean and well kept. The location is excellent and does not have high rise condos, traffic congestion or crowded beaches, although Gulf Shores is only a short drive away. This property will make your vacation memorable for a lifetime.
