Our cedar cottage on pristine, spring-fed Big Whitefish Lake is an all-season retreat and full of charm! The views from this lakefront home are unforgettable. The cottage offers four bedrooms, including a newly remodeled basement and bathroom. You can head down the new stairs to your own brand-new private dock, just a short swim from another dock that features two diving boards (available until Labor Day). Two kayaks and a rowboat are available for use, as well as swim floats and beach toys between May and September. Good fishing available off our dock This is a wonderful remote work location with excellent WiFi. Pets are welcome!

We really enjoyed our stay. Check in was easy. The beds were comfortable. We spent most of our time out on the front screen porch, enjoying the view of the lake and woods. Thank you for hosting us!

Amazing location,scenery,clean, comfortable bedding. My sister stayed in basement bedroom and suggested another mirror. getting ready for a wedding and someone was in the bathroom and only mirror was occupied.

This cottage was perfect for a long relaxing weekend. The kids loved the diving board and dock. We spent the mornings and evenings on the screened in porch drinking coffee, eating and just hanging out enjoying the view. The kitchen had every utensil we needed and the bathrooms were a great size with shower heads at a tall enough height for everyone in the group. Playing darts in the basement was also so fun! We also enjoyed the front yard too, playing lawn games we brought while grilling. The neighborhood was also fun to take quick walks with the kids around, they loved all the squirrels, flowers and mushrooms. It felt like we were so far away but every convivence seemed to be within 20 mins and three days felt like we were gone for a week it was so relaxing. We cannot wait to come back and make more memories, thank you to Katie for making it possible!

The house and its rooms were very clean and ready to use. We had everything we needed (and much more) to cook, grill, shower, clean, roast, play, relax, etc.The view to the frozen lake from the back porch and from the dock was amazing.I would 10/10 recommend to stay here ! My family and myself had a great 2-night stay.

This house was everything we were looking for in a Fall weekend getaway. We enjoyed kayaking, a beautiful sunrise, family game time in the screened in porch and even met a friendly squirrel and cat. The owner was very accomodating and responsive to communication.

The first impression when you walk in the house is WOW! The view of the lake is beautiful! The house was well stocked with everything you will need! Just a really cute place!

We had a lovely stay at the cabin. The front porch is perfect for a relaxing moment of peace. There is a long staircase to the lake, but the clear, calm waters are worth the hike. The house is well stocked with games and activities for families. There is a large front yard as well.

Nice place to get away. Quiet neighborhood. House was nice. A lot of steps to get to the brand new dock which is very nice. Would recommend for a nice family get away.

Ladies Getaway

The house was easy to locate and in a wonderful location. The view was beautiful with the sunrise right there overlooking the lake. I would absolutely recommend this location again.

We enjoyed the kayaks and fire pit. The screened in porch was nice to sit in and look out at the lake. The one drawback was the 79 steps to the dock. We got lots of exercise this weekend!!

Peaceful Stay on Big Whitefish Lake

An ideal place to getaway and enjoy the best of Michigan - cottage, lake, and the quiet closeness of nature! The cottage is clean and spacious with amazing views of Big Whitefish Lake and is close to GR and BR, and easy runs to grab groceries, etc. Ideal rental for those looking for a peaceful and relaxing vacation - just wonderful!

Awesome Accomadations!!

This property is top notch and so comfortable for families of all ages. Little hospitality touches are abound on the property. We will definitely come back again in the summer. Thank you so much for a wonderful place to stay
