Enjoy spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean, Kaanapali's famous Black Rock, Maui's neighboring island, Molokai, and the lush West Maui Mountains from this upgraded interior courtyard 5th-floor studio suite at the Whaler in the heart of Kaanapali Beach.

It's fully renovated 500+ sq ft interior provides the perfect setting for small families and couples to gather comfortably, just steps from the soft sands of Kaanapali Beach. Enjoy renovated flooring throughout, upgraded fixtures, and gorgeous island-style decor.

The full modern kitchen has been luxuriously updated with custom cabinetry, marble countertops, and high-end stainless steel appliances, and is equipped with all the utensils and kitchenware you will need during your stay. Dine on the large private lanai overlooking the lush resort grounds and pool, or enjoy your meals at the air-conditioned, in-suite dining area.

With a sumptuous king-size bed and a queen-size convertible sofa sleeper, your group can comfortably sleep up to four guests. The en-suite bathroom has been fully redone with upgraded cabinetry, marbled counters, and a tiled walk-in shower for a lavish bath experience.

Catch your favorite show on the flat panel HDTV or utilize the free high-speed Wi-Fi included with your stay.

Nestled right in the heart of Kaʻanapali Beach, steps from soft sands and pristine waters, The Whaler boasts one of Maui’s best resort locations. This world-famous beach offers an abundance of shopping, dining, and activities right at your doorstep. Luaus, dinner cruises, snorkel trips, parasailing (summer only), whale watching (winter only), surf lessons, and more are only a short walk away.

Lounge by the sparkling beachfront pool and hot tub or take a dip in the crystal blue waters of the Pacific Ocean. A beachside towel desk can assist with gear rentals for snorkeling, stand-up paddleboarding, surfing, and more. Amazing place to stay for a couple! Just the right amount of space and located right next to whalers village! The bed was comfortable and the AC and ceiling fan kept the room cool which was perfect! Also, the place had beach chairs and a cooler we were able to take to the beach which was also walking distance. Would highly recommend staying here at the whaler!

Great place to stay. Lots of older folks so it is fairly quiet. Facility was clean and staff was friendly. Would have been nice if there was access to a workout facility, but I believe that was for members only, not guests.

This was my 11th time to Maui. It’s my favorite place in the whole world. Our room at the Whaler was fantastic. The view looking towards Black rock was stunning. The room was nice and very comfortable. I spend most of my time on the balcony Just enjoying the view. The Whaler is a great location for restaurants and shopping. Just perfect. We did not have to rent a car. I certainly will be back.

Perfect condo for our Maui vacation

This property was just as described. The location was great – steps to the beach short walk to Whalers Village. The property was beautiful and well maintained. We didn’t have any trouble finding a place to park in the garage. Elevators were quick. We had plenty of room for the two of us, and the bed was very comfortable.
