It is Minutes away from Cedar Creek Lake and 45 Minutes from Dallas downtown. The home is in 2.5 acre ranch with beautiful pool and SPA . It has 5 Bedrooms and 3.5 baths that can accommodate upto 30 people with 2 decent King beds, Outdoor seating area around pool ,Poker table ,Foosball, Indoor kitchen and outdoor BBQ as well with kitchen essentials. Its perfect for family reunions ,Events and getaway place that is suitable for both Short term and Long term stays.

Its very close to Kings Creek Golf Course and Minutes from Hwy 175 and also Cedar Creek Lakes at Gun barrel City , Mabank and Surrounding lake cities. The place is close to lot of restaurants, Go-Karting , golf Club , boat rentals places.

The home is designed by leading designer with black and white theme modern look. The home is large single floor with 5 Bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms.
The Master bedroom , 2 Living Areas ,Kitchen and Nook are facing the pool.
0. Hot tub , Sauna ,2 brand new Professional pickle ball courts along with basketball hoop.
1. The mater bedroom has 1 King bed with attached bathroom
2. The Second bedroom/Office has 1 King bed.
3. The 3rd Bedroom has 2 Queen beds with Jack and Jill bathroom.
4. The 4th bedroom has 2 Queen beds with Jack and Jill bathroom.
5. The 5th bedroom has 2 Bunk beds with 1 Queen and 1 Twin on each bunk bed.
6. The Living area has 3 Sleeper sofa's that can be made into 3 beds.
7. There is projector in one of the living area's .
8. The home as EV Charger that can charge any electric Vehicle ex : Tesla etc..
9. There are multiple 4k TV's in the bedrooms and Outside living area.
10. Huge formal Dinning that can seat 10 People.
11. Invested a lot to get decent size internet speed in this area.

The Pool and SPA is not heated.

To rent the barn as well along with the home please reach out to Host. The barn in 40' X 60' feet.

Three House Rules -
1. No Disruptive parties - Events with loud music, parking violations, excessive drinking, take place primarily at night, and 25+ people are not allowed.

2. Smoking is not permitted inside ($400 fine), no tampering with cameras/security devices, no DJs or large sound systems (Only regular speakers).

3. First 16 guests are included by the base rate which includes everyone visiting and spending the night. Keep all guests and noise inside after 10:00 PM

There are 5 Video cameras and 1 Ring video door bell that will be Constantly recording on the exterior of the property. 4 camera’s monitor all 4 sides of the main property from each corner. Ring door bell monitors the front door. 5th camera is on exterior side of the barn to monitor the backside of the property. Also there is minut noise threshold monitoring device in the backyard patio.

Stay was good only difficult to get response from host. Just make sure to have a BBQ grill the one over there is charcoal, not the one in picture and the barn is not included, so don’t expect chess and play area we see in pictures.

Last splash of summer

Great stay-cation right before school starts. The pool was the main event doing our stay. The barn had many family games to occupy our time. Did I mention the basketball court. Overall great property and new memories.

Quick golf trip with friends and family

We had an amazing stay! The backyard was fantastic, with plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained. The pool was awesome — a perfect spot to relax and cool off — and there were lots of comfortable places to hang out and unwind. The sauna was a great bonus and made the experience even better.The barn was incredible too, offering even more space and plenty of games to enjoy.If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway where you can truly enjoy the outdoors, this is the place. It’s private, secluded, and so easy to relax and have fun.We can’t wait to come back

The location was fun, but unfortunately, many amenities, like the hot tub, BBQ pit, and sauna, were not working. Additionally, many light bulbs were burned out, and some of the plugs in the master didn't work. Cookware is a mix - no cookie sheets, old Teflon frying pans which are deteriorating, but a nice variety of pots. You may want to bring your own towels if you have a large group, as we did not have enough for one per person, and we stayed 3 nights. The owner was responsive when contacted about no light in the master toilet room and sent someone to fix it immediately Other problems were not addressed The BBQ pit was dirty, with food on it and on the ground, which was explained away as the cleaning crew arrived while it was raining (the BBQ pit is in a covered area) The photos are different from reality The images show a gas grill - it's small and charcoal The foosball table is unlevel, the barstools are easy for children to tip over, at least two of the chairs in the breakfast area are broken.There were no functioning smoke detectors in the bedrooms. Finally, there were not enough bowls, spoons, forks for 16 people.This is a fun location, but these minor things cumulatively had a negative impact on our stay. This place has a lot of potential!

Very disappointed in our stay. Only positive-the owners were responsive to messages. They did send someone out to clean the pool after we complained of trash and dirty clothes being in it. They were also very nice to allow us use the barn games without an additional fee. Unfortunately though, this house needs major deep cleaning and a lot of repairs. It is generally unclean. Dust, cobwebs throughout. We saw a mouse and roach during our stay. The hot tub did not work despite multiple messages to the owners and troubleshooting, we were unable to use it during our entire stay. It would not hold heat but we finally gave up trying to get it to work. We had to go buy cleaning products to clean the master shower prior to using. There is no door on the master bathroom and the master bedroom door does not lock. One of the bedrooms does not have access to a full bathroom so they have to go through others bedrooms to use a shower. One of the clothes dryers did not work well. The hand towel bars were installed incorrectly and fell out of the wall when drying hands in all the bathrooms. Theres significant damage to walls throughout the house, holes in windows, ripped rugs were trip hazards. Don’t use the swing outside, it flips you out of it due to the way it’s installed. The outlets in the master bedroom by each night stand did not work so there was no way to use lamps or charge phones. The mattresses are uncomfortable. We spent almost 7K for the week, very disheartening.

Relaxing and fun

It was a nice property. Would stay again. The outdoor area by the pool was the highlight. We really enjoyed it. We had an issue with the oven and the owner was very responsive. My only advice is bring your own pans, if you don't like teflon.

Wow, what a facility this is! We stayed in the barndominium. The place is huge! It's massive, really. We can’t believe how big it was. It had a sauna, a big, nice pool, and even two pickleball courts. Plus, there's more than enough land on the property to do anything you want, like throw a frisbee or play soccer.And on top of all of that, it was really nice. The whole place was well kept up and clean. The interior of the barndominium was really cool. It had plenty of space, which was great since we stayed there with a large group of people. I think the largest room would hold 20 people and we definitely got our money’s worth from it. We had plenty of space to stretch out and relax. It’s even equipped with enough games to keep everyone entertained. There were foosball and several other games inside.The house also had some great rooms. It had big windows, which is always nice. Plus, the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The rooms were also well furnished and decorated. The house even had a TV projector so we could watch movies together at night.

Property was nice and spacious. Easy to locate. I would suggest bringing your towels, pots and pans. Those items are very limited. The flies were an issue. Over all if these things are corrected it would be a perfect getaway.

Best House We Booked Before!!!

So this was our 2nd time booking this house and it was better than the first time. We have an online group we created during Covid an we travel to meet up once or twice a year. We did both of our meetings here this year. We have a big group of 20 an it accommodating every single last one of us. The rooms and bathrooms were clean both times and the outside area is very clean. The House look better in person then the pictures! It is 45 mins from the city BUT if you travel when traffic not high it feel like 30. The host messaged us back within minutes every time. We have plans for next year but we are sure to be back here in 2026 for sure. Thank you all again for your hospitality!

"Minutes from lake"

Minutes from Lake but the lake is dry, hard to reach management, no cellular service and wifi is a hit or miss. All the amenities are separate charges(hot tub, basketball court, etc.). Fly and ant problems in house. If these issues were corrected this would be a great place to stay.

property nice. pots old with teflon gone in some places, handles broken off pans , no cooking pots, baking pans, (said there were 2) 1 refrigerator in house and a small drink refrigerator by pool , very few towels/ washcloths/hand towels, no kitchen towels for dishes, no pool towels. These things we have had in other Arbo rentals over the last ten yrs.. For the money we paid. Disappointing.

Review of Cedar Creek

We traveled to Cedar Creek for a company retreat. The house was a great size and had plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed using the projector to watch football and play games! The location of the house was great and easy to get to. We were disappointed that a lot of the activities were not usable and needed updating - the basketballs were flat, the pool was dirty and had swimming bugs, the air hokey table did not blow air so we could not use it, the pool table sticks were broken, and there were not enough towels for all the guests. We were using hand towels to take a shower. Additionally we had to go out and buy paper towels and trash bags. Overall we had a good stay but were a bit disappointed with the cost verses the quality.

Filthy, infested with flies, not worth the $ spent!

Extremely filthy…counters weren’t wiped down, bathtubs weren’t clean, pool had nasty stuff floating in it and water was not clear, grill was so greasy it flared up before we put food on the grates. The house was infested with flies, quite literally could not leave anything uncovered as it would be covered in flies. No cookware, mixing bowls, casserole dishes or cooking/serving utensils available…bring your own. For a place that sleeps 30, they only provide pool towels and bath towels for 6. The property manager was very slow to respond to questions and in fact didn’t answer some questions we had. Will not return.

Deceiving Photos

Pro's: spacious, huge back patio/porch, outdoor games for kids, chairs, fire pit, large barn with basketball goal, indoor projector screen, 2 washer/dryers, large TV room Con's: upon arrival freshly cut grass blown all into the pool and across the back porch and patio furniture, pool water was green along with cups, trash in the bottom, dishwasher was broken with old water in the bottom, A/C drain leaking water on the back porch, no fire pit key, floors that needed to be swept/mopped, broken light fixtures, table chairs with loose arms and gas grill that barely works. We're able to contact host for pool, A/C and fire pit issues. Pool company arrived day 2 and treated/shocked pool making water better but revealing black algae and stained pool plaster, A/C guy checked freon levels and advised what needed to be done and fire pit key was given access to from a locked storage.

Health Hazards, Roaches, and a Shortchanged Refund—Avoid at All Costs!

This stay was a disaster from start to (early) finish. Let’s start with the obvious: visible bodily fluids floating in the hot tub, the pool guy even advised not to get in it. That alone should’ve been the red flag to run, but sadly, things only got worse.The kitchen was infested with roaches—leave food on the counter and it’s a free buffet for them. The house was filthy: trash under dressers, hair clinging to the showers, feces around the base of toilets, and a crusty, unclean oven. The sauna didn’t work. The bathrooms had so little hot water that it barely lasted long enough for a child’s shower. Speaking of children, mine cut their leg on an exposed metal piece jutting out from the bunk bed. Safety clearly isn’t a priority here.We vacated immediately (as any reasonable person would) and requested a refund. In hindsight, I should have insisted on a full refund, but trying to be a decent human, I agreed to a refund minus 450. Instead, I was only partially refunded with over 600 missing, with no clear explanation. Vrbo’s breakdown was vague, with taxes and fees mysteriously eating up the difference, leaving me shortchanged despite the appalling condition of the property.Save yourself the trouble, the potential injury, and a call to pest control. There are plenty of beautiful properties on Vrbo—this is not one of them.

Would Not Recommend

There were several things that were not up to the standard or overall description/price of the property. First, the day of we were told check in would be an hour later (5:00pm instead of 4:00pm). When we arrived we were unable to use the pool because they were installing a new pump/filter system that same day. Obviously the pool is the reason anyone rents this property and we had 13 adults and 13 kids with us. Try to imagine telling kids they can't use a pool after being in a car for hours. Had we known ahead of time, we would have canceled or rescheduled. We live over 3:30 hours away, so trying to find somewhere else with zero notice was impossible. Also, the owner/property manager should have communicated this to us before our trip. Just overall poor organization and communication. The next day we were able to use the pool late morning, but we had to get out again so chemicals could be added. This took a few hours. When we were able to use the pool it was very nice and everyone enjoyed it, but how this was handled was not acceptable for the cost of the property. We found several damages around the house i.e. the basketball goal, garage door, pool stick, chair, toilet paper holders, leaking dishwasher washer etc. We took pictures of everything and told the property manager. Obviously not a good first impression. Also the house was not clean. We took out garbage that was left, swept dirt that was all over the garage, and tidy up the house. We even fixed the basketball goal and constantly switched out towels under the dishwasher so that the kitchen didn't flood or damage the baseboards. None of these are expected when you look at the property description or photos, which is extremely misleading. We felt that we deserved a partial refund for our stay. I’m sure if you drove a long way to find these issues you would want a refund. We rented this property with the understanding that the pool was available and everything was clean and in proper working order. This wasn’t the case. We reported this to the property manager and shared with the owner over the phone and on VRBO. The owner originally admitted their mistake and offered a refund if we canceled right after we arrived, which wasn't realistic and they knew that. We would not recommend this property to anyone and hopefully the owner does the right thing. If that happens we will update this review to reflect that. Mistakes happen and this is an opportunity for them to correct that mistake.

The pool was overloaded with back 2 back resevations and the pump gave up. Now we have mega new pump and also added additional staff for pool cleaners and cleaning for the heavy demand of the house. Sorry for any inconvenience that was caused.

Great trip with friends

We had a great time at the house. Very nice setup, and very comfortable. Outdoor areas and indoor areas were all great.

Great Marketing, Not So Great Execution

Our group had a good time but I don't think we would rent this property again. The property in the pictures is not exactly what you get. Pros: Lots of room and beds for a large group. The projector TV in the living room was awesome for watching sports and movies. Nice pool in the backyard. Although the property is right off the main road, it is fairly private without any neighbors close by. They provided toilet paper, paper towels, basic kitchen spices, and soap for kitchen and washer. Marina about 10 minutes away. Stores/restaurants within 10-15 minutes. Cons: It's not especially clean. Lots of bugs crawling around - needs an exterminator. Inside of house needs a coat of paint and deep cleaning. The bottom cabinets in the kitchen are falling off of their hinges. For a house that claims to sleep 30, the kitchen pots/pans/utensils are sparse (for example, only one cookie sheet and no large frying pan except for a wok). There is not an option to heat the spa (most places we've rented allow this with a fee). They are extremely strict about noise - saying you are not allowed to be outside after 10:00 PM and that they have a noise monitor in the backyard (seems excessive for the weekend, especially considering the property is on 2 1/2 acres without any neighbors closeby). When we asked if we could park a couple cars on the property before 4:00, we were told yes as long as we paid for an extra night (again, the property is on 2 1/2 acres with a very long driveway). I specifically asked if bedding would be provided for the pullout couches and was told yes. Upon arrival, there were throw blankets for each couch but nothing else. Luckily we brought extra pillows and blankets. The yard games shown in the pictures (like volleyball and frisbee golf) are not usable because the property grass is too tall and full of weeds and lots of stickers.
