The house is big enough for us all to spread out and then enjoy the common areas. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had room in the cabinets for the food we brought, and the table was big enough that we could do a puzzle on one end and eat on the other. Property management was responsive. We'll be back for sure.

Great Place for a large group

We enjoyed this property to stay for a few days to visit Glendo Reservoir. It has plenty of space inside and definitely accommodated our larger group. Very good host and great communication. Would recommend and stay here again.

Ideal location for girl getaway

This home was exactly what four friends needed for a great girls getaway. The home was just as described, clean and comfortable! The host communicated in a very timely manner to all the questions we had! Just a perfect place to enjoy!

Girls Trip 2025

The house could have been cleaner. A few deep cleans maybe quarterly would be great., ie, cleaning light fixtures, oven etc. The location was odd at first but fine, close enough to the lake. Not sure about the electrical downstairs but regardless we had a good time and stay.

Great space tucked away

We really enjoyed our stay here! We had 10 people and this property it was great for accommodating all of us! The owner, Jodie, was great at communicating. The house was clean. We are hoping to come back again next year!

Razor riding and fishing on Glendo Reservoir

We are not picky so all was ok with us. After all, we were doing outdoorsy things, where we got dirty. The light above the cook stove was awful. The grout in the corners of the upstairs bath was packed with dirt. I cleaned them myself. The ledge in the same bath was loaded with dust too.

Weekend Getaway

The house is older but was clean, had comfortable beds and was an easy drive away from the fun of Glendo state park. We were comfortable in the house which had all the necessary amenities. The host clearly communicated with us. The house has multiple floor transitions that can cause trips and require caution when getting familiar with the house. This includes a bathtub that is very high off the floor, so children using it will require close supervision. The water is also exceptionally hot. The house is located between the interstate and the train tracks which created unexpected noise.

We have used VRBO for many years as our family takes vacations every year. This was the most disappointing VRBO house we have ever experienced. We killed dozens of spiders both large and small, one family member needed to be treated at UC when we returned home. Basement bathroom had mold/scum everywhere and very unsafe conditions getting in and out of tub. Shower curtain, drapes & wall had mold. Light fixture above stove had not been cleaned in months and was COVERED in bugs that would drop into food on stove while cooking. Back door did not close/lock properly. Description fails to mention the crazy dog across the street that likes to chase and bite tires, nor the train less than 200 yards from house. Luckily the windows are good enough to block most of the sound, but you can feel the trains if you're paying attention. Also, the yard is pretty much just a field, although they do have ample parking for a large boat in the weeds beside the house. The front porch/sunroom is being held up by 2x6 piece of wood. Not exactly what I expected. Would not recommend if you have any type of snake or spider phobia or care about your family's health. We would have moved to a different rental; however, nothing was available.

Hi Kate, Thank you for your feedback. I'm truly sorry to hear that your stay didn’t meet expectations. I take your concerns seriously and am already addressing several of the issues you mentioned, including having the property treated for spiders right away. I do wish you had reached out during your stay—had I known about any of these concerns, I would have done everything I could to make things right in real time. I responded quickly to all of your questions before check-in and even offered an early check-in at no extra charge, so I’m always happy to help when contacted. As for cleanliness, our cleaning team is very thorough and typically receives great feedback. That said, I will personally inspect the home and ensure everything is up to our standards. I’ve also spoken with our neighbor and asked that his dogs be kept on his property, and we’re adding outdoor cameras to help monitor the situation. Just to clarify for future guests: we’ve never had any issues with snakes at the property, and the house, including the porch/sunroom, is structurally sound. Again, I’m sorry to hear you were disappointed. We take guest feedback seriously and are using your review to make improvements where needed. Best regards, Jodie

Wonderful Visit to Glendo

Four couples stayed in this home for the weekend. It was great. The house was very clean, nice bed linens and comfortable beds and the kitchen had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the front porch area. We all agreed we would love to visit again sometime. Thank you, Jodie!

Nice get away

Property is in glendo and a short distance to the lake. Went on a hike both days in two moon park which is just above the marina.
