This home is absolutely beautiful, and the view is stunning. We loved being able to see the lake from so many of the windows. Looking at Lake Michigan is never looking at the same lake twice. It was amazing having a private beach! The house was immaculately clean and we had no issues at all. We also really appreciated the layout of the house. Having three floors with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms and two separate living areas gave our family the space we needed to enjoy each other’s company but also have some separate spaces.The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few family meals. It was well stocked and had really nice appliances. Montague was a cute town to wander through, we really enjoyed the bookstore and some of the little shops. This is also home to Michigan’s last remaining Dog n Suds. Unlike a lot of Michigan vacation towns Montague didn’t feel crowded at all.The hosts were easy to communicate with, very responsive and checking in and out was easy.This was definitely a five out of five star experience. Maybe even six out of five stars. our family thanks you for sharing this beautiful home.

Amazing home with unbeatable views!

My family had a wonderful stay at this property. The hosts were quick to communicate and answer any questions we had. The home has been recently updated and was exceptionally clean. Plenty of room for kids and adults alike. Anything we needed was provided from beach towels to paddle boards to ample seating inside and out the home. Highly recommend and will likely be back sooner than later!

Beautiful Cottage

Perfect getaway for our group to relax and take in the beautiful Lake Michigan scenery. The wraparound deck was stellar for visiting and staring at the coastline. Plenty of room for everyone and super easy to book/check in. Definitely plan to stay again in the future! Thanks!

We love this house! This is the cleanest rental home we have ever stayed in. The decor is light and tranquil. The windows bring in so much great sunlight and stunning lake views. The house has had a lot of changes and upgrades from our original stay in 2021 and they did a phenomenal job! Beach (sturdy staircase, paddleboards and kayaks), fire pit, hot tub, amazing views from the deck, and a blackstone..it was perfect, We couldn't ask for anything else! The owner is kind and easy to communicate with. We will stay here again and again.

Nana's Lake Michigan Family Vacation

This is a beautiful home on Lake Michigan, bright, clean and plenty of room with wonderful lake views from every window. The beach is spectacular and was enjoyed by everyone. Superb!

My family and I have stayed at many VRBO vacation homes and have enjoyed most (one exception). Our 2023 stay was by far one that checked all the boxes. It was CLEAN, roomy, beautifully decorated, and accessible for all 9 of us. The beach and the Blackstone really put this vacation over the top (plus the weather was perfect).

Picture-perfect cottage on the lake with every amenity

Had a fabulous weekend here celebrating my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. The view of Lake Michigan was breathtaking with an unforgettable sunset each night. Inside, the home was beautifully furnished with a sophisticated, thoughtfully curated interior that felt modern and elegant. As someone who loves to cook, I was elated to find a well-stocked kitchen with sharp knives (a rare and welcome surprise in a rental), plus both a Blackstone and propane grill. The space was generous and comfortable, with room to spread out and relax. The host was kind, responsive, and made everything easy from start to finish. We can't wait to come back.

Beautiful, Quaint Location

We spent a week here with my in-laws (9 people total). The house was big enough for all of us and met all of our needs. The kitchen and living room area are big and spacious with a beautiful view of the lake. The bedrooms are all quite large and the beds were comfortable. The cottage is located about 5 miles outside of Montague in a quiet, peaceful area. It was a great area for running and riding bikes. I would definitely recommend this cottage and we hope to return again next year.

We greatly enjoyed our stay it was everything we were looking for plus more! Views were awesome had a beautiful sunset across lake Michigan both evenings. Lake Michigan Wonder

My family, ranging in age from 13 to 99, had a fabulous stay at Roosevelt Cottage. I was extremely impressed with the well-stocked kitchen; much better than anything I have seen at other properties. A perfect get away for relaxing, enjoying the lake views, and walking on the beach.

Great place!

This is a great house! We had a group of 10 adults. 80ish stairs to beach, very manageable. Great ice maker, outdoor lighting and outdoor shower really made the experience over the top. Would highly recommend!

This is a little cottage set on the hill that over looks Lake Michigan. It's meant to be a fun family time for people to come and enjoy. There is an expansive lovely beach with about 70 steps to get down to the beach. We want families and Friends to come stay at Roosevelt Cottage and make the best memories.

This is a cottage nestled on a quiet street. You are free to enjoy the beauty of creation all around you. There are endless views of Lake Michigan from the decks or from the manicured sitting areas. You are a short drive to Stony Lake, Silver Lake Sand dunes, Pentwater, or Ludington. You can even catch a nice dinner in North Muskegon. Its the perfect location of feeling up north with all of the amenities near by.
