a perfect location
We loved staying at the Cohen house - beautiful, comfortable, and accessible., an easy walk into Pt. Reyes Station. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for preparing dinners in, and the bathrooms had all the products you would need if you forgot something from home. Lovely furnishings, lots of books (happy to see many of my favorite authors on the shelves) and artwork, and the deck with the view of the big trees was sublime. Listening to the Mother Screech Owl signal her night hunting was thrilling, as was hearing the owlets celebrating her return with dinner. And the hot tub under the stars .... aahhh! Thank you for such an amazing vacation getaway!
Wonderful home with very supportive owners.
We had great stay at this lovely home. Enjoyed the flowering plants on deck and the hammock. Kitchen was well stocked and lots of easy to understand instructions for house. I highly recommend.
Thank you so much for renting your amazing home to us. We had a wonderful time and wished we had booked another night. Now we know for next time and hope to be back. Your home was extremely comfortable for our family of 4 (two adults, two teens) --- there was more than enough space for all to spread out, enjoy the beautiful views of the backyard; the amenities of a comfy home environment during a big rainstorm (cooking, watching movies, playing games, and hot tub); and the close proximity to town for delicious bakery treats and browsing in the beloved bookstore, among other delights. We also enjoyed going out to the lighthouse and Chimney Rock to see migrating whales and wildflowers. The art work is lovely and the environment feels very comfortable and soothing. Just what we needed for a busy family trying to spend some time together. Thank you !
Perfect Getaway for a Family Reunion
Helen and Mark have thought of everything to make their beautiful home a comfortable and easy place to spend time with family or friends. The layout of the house allows for the comfort of both early and late risers, and the kitchen and dining area have plenty of room for everyone. We loved hearing owls call, and watching the night herons come and go from their nearby roost. Thought provoking artwork indoors, and lots of large windows for looking out, not to mention the hot tub on cold days and nights. Did I mention it is an easy drive to Tomales Bay State Park and Point Reyes National Seashore? Thank you, Helen and Mark, for sharing your home with us.
Beautiful and comfortable
This house was a wonderful place to stay for our getaway to Pt Reyes. It is very spacious and very comfortably furnished— beds, couches, huge wonderful deck and great hot tub. The kitchen is large and has everything you need for cooking—even condiments! And the decor is so beautiful! Helen is an artist, and it shows everywhere you look. Add in the beautiful, spacious private location, with a lovely walk into town, and it’s hard to see how it could be better! We’ll definitely be back!
Another wonderful stay!
Our family of four just returned from another wonderful stay at this Point Reyes home. We've been there now five or six times, and we've loved every stay. The house is comfortable, immaculate, and well-furnished, and big enough for the family to spread out at the end of the day. The kitchen always seems to have just the right pot or pan when we're cooking (not always true of other VRBOs!), and the kitchen table is the perfect place for board games after dinner. It's within a 15-minute walk of the village (and that wonderful bookstore!) and a five-minute drive from the Bear Valley Visitor Center.
