About Tom or Deb Jordan

Your hosts, Tom and Deb have lived in the area since 2002, although Tom grew up just across the highway and knows the region quite well. After a 26 year career in the USAF, Tom and Deb decided to move back to his native roots. We love the area with so much beauty and peace. We just want to share this experience with everyone.

Tom or Deb Jordan purchased this cabin in 2002

Why Tom or Deb Jordan chose Castle Rock Area

This little cabin is located near our home, a mountain lodge (which we also rent out in the summer).

What makes this cabin unique

Hiking fishing, white water rafting, mountain biking are all activities on or near the property. Just the views from the cabin's elevated deck offer the peace and quiet of mountain living. A unique setting, centrally located to many of Colorado's major attractions. Cabin in the Pike is perfect for relaxing in the sun at the pool, or setting out on day excursions for Colorado's best sight seeing.

Guestbook comments from the owner

This property is absolutely beautiful... The little cabin is tucked in the woods with huge boulders in the background. The inside is all wood panels with a beautiful stone fireplace and chimney. It's two stories with lots of privacy and excellent views from every advantage point. You can even watch the deer and elk while bathing in the jaccuzzi bathtub. For a quiet evening, enjoy the cool mountain air with a glass of wine on the wraparound deck. This deck is huge and boasts a wonderful picnic table, grill, and lounge chairs. Just a few steps away is the most unusual mountain swimming pool. Plenty of walking trails and very convenient to the city of Denver. It's truly nature at its best without the long drive. Awesome!

We Love Cabin in the Pike

  • 5 of 5

Tom and Deb went out of their way to accommodate us and make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. This was our second stay at the Cabin and we just love the location and beauty of the property. Hiking right out the door into national forest land, minutes from shopping and restaurants - could not ask for more!

Peaceful and relaxing

  • 5 of 5

Stayed here July 3-8, 2017 with my 2 dogs. Cabin is nice size for 2 people. The owners make sure you have everything you need - washer/dryer, fridge, kitchen, gas grill, linens etc. The dogs loved hanging out on the deck with us and walking around property. Short drive 10-15min to Castle Rock, CO- plenty of restaurants, shopping, pet stores, gas stations etc. We enjoyed going to Colorado Springs, CO- highly recommend Bear Creek Dog Park and Pub Dog restaurant. You can bring your dog in with you to eat inside or out in the patio. We sat outside in the off leash dog patio area. Loved going to Garden of the Gods as well as hiking to the top of Devils Head- awesome views, definitely the highlight of our trip. Our family loved staying here and had an awesome vacation. Thank you!

Secluded

  • 5 of 5

My husband, three dogs and I were in town for a wedding. We wanted to be in a remote place away from the city but close enough to the venue. This was the perfect choice! The cabin was even better than we imagined! It was clean and well equipped with all that we needed. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you Tom and Deb!

  • 5 of 5

This is our second time at the cabin. We love this place. Tom and Deb are amazing. They did everything to accommodate us. Our schedule changed and we had to modify things. No issues at all. They were helpful and easy about the whole thing.

Cabin is so cozy and perfect for my husband, our 2 dogs and I. It We love the views. The Cabin has everything you need to feel like you are at home. It is hard to leave such a wonderful place. I have told everyone I know about this place and highly recommend going. You won't be disappointed.
