Ptarmigan Peak is a mountain modern home located in the idyllic setting of Summit Sky Ranch in Silverthorne, Colorado. This 2,050 sq ft home offers mountain luxury with 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. It also has a separate outdoor patio area with an outdoor fireplace nestled up to acres of forest with a private hiking trail just off the property making for extremely easy access. This home can sleep 8 comfortably. Overlooking the valley below, with amazing mountain views and private trails to explore all throughout the neighborhood, adventure is just steps away! The open-plan kitchen/living/dining area is great for relaxing by the fireplace while sharing conversation with friends and family. Venture out onto your back patio to take in the fresh air and keep your eye out for foxes, moose, and deer roaming the lush area behind the home. A true Rocky Mountain Experience!

Guests of Summit Sky Ranch Rentals have access to a variety of Summit Sky Ranch amenities including the private hiking trails, private fishing waters, the Aspen House, and our Lake House. The Aspen House amenities include: an outdoor heated pool, two hot tubs, a fitness center, a wellness room, a Ping-Pong table, a community gathering area with local tap beer and wine available, and an outdoor fire pit complete with roasting sticks. The Lake House amenities include a fire pit, two grills, and two hot tubs nestled right on the spring-fed Lake Everist, perfect for fishing, kayaking, and stand-up paddle boarding.

Aspen House visitation hours are currently:
Monday-Thursday 10am-7pm
Friday 10am-6pm
Saturday 9am-11am
Sunday 5pm-7pm

Lake House visitation hours are currently:
7 days a week 7am-9pm

Outside of the amenities available to you at Summit Sky Ranch, you can also enjoy several top ski resorts a short distance away, cross-country skiing with free groomed trails, sledding, snowshoeing trails, ice skating, mountain biking trails, stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, and sailing on Lake Dillon. There are also some fine shops and restaurants in Silverthorne, Frisco, Breckenridge, Keystone and Dillon waiting for you to explore.

Great home

Great home in good community. House was clean and very comfortable for adults and kids. Furnishings are cozy and kitchen is well-equipped. Community has pool and hot tub in very serene setting. We really enjoyed our stay. About ~ 15 minute drive from Keystone, and 30 minutes from Breckenridge.

Wonderful Stay at Ptarmigan Peak

Our stay at Ptarmigan Peak was great. The house was perfect for our family. The location is perfect to ski many different slopes and the amenities in the house were excellent. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit the mountains. I highly recommend this property!!

Best jumping off point!

This house is located in an ideal place for groups of skiers and boarders with different passes to easily drive to their ski resorts of choice. It’s a great place for entertaining guests and enjoy family time.
