This was the most perfect stay we could’ve asked for in Hana. You are staying at a farm, so go in with an open mind. It’s grounding and so beautiful. Sharon was the most incredible host and provides a once in a lifetime experience for her guests, THANK YOU
We loved our stay here. It was the perfect place to relax, unwind, and get clean and rested after a long day on the road to Hana. It's a beatiful place on beautifal land with many well cared for animals including 30-year-old horses! The dogs were charming greeters. We enjoyed our time talking to Alan as he was so kind and easy to talk to. There were thoughtful touches, beautiful pieces of furniture and art, interesting books about Hawaii, and the space was clean. My spouse and I found the bed to be very comfortable and we appreciated the fresh eggs laid the by hens on-site. Thank you Alan and Sharon for hosting, and thank you for all that you do for these beautiful animals.
This is an incredibly unique property on a beautiful plot of land. Our hosts, Alan and Sharon, went out of their way to make us comfortable even though we arrived after dark. They provided information and recommendations for the surrounding area and showed us around the farm. We loved cracking fresh macadamia nuts from right outside the cabin, spending time with the farm dogs and animals, and joining Alan for his nightly goat walk. The location is also breathtaking and in easy reach of hikes, beaches, and restaraunts. Would definitely stay again!
Loved playing with the animals, walking with the goats and dogs, brushing the horses. It was a perfect break in the Hana highway journey on the way to the bamboo forest hike.
We loved our time at the farm house! Very kind hosts with big hearts for all their rescued critters. Just a quick drive into Hana town to grab dinner or whatever you need.
Such a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere! The place was clean and comfortable, but the highlight was all of the animals that were so friendly and roaming around the property. We were so amused by the goats lounging on the recliners, the chickens perched in the trees, and we cherished cuddling the dogs! The afternoon goat and dog walk was such a treat. Warning, one of the rescued roosters crowed before it was anywhere nearing sunrise! We just dealt with it, knowing he was a rescue and that would happen.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness
Decent enough- seemed like nice people and I was comfortable but a few things could have really made this place a gem- the bikes weren’t in working order- couldn’t pump up the tires. Part of why we picked this place was having access to bikes. Also, the cottage smelled like cat pee and could have been cleaner. Also lock on door didn’t work and I got spooked out about safety. Fresh egg breakfast was nice.
This cute little property met all of our needs for our trip to Hana. It was clean. The hosts were accommodating, and the air conditioning worked well. The farm animals were a charming addition.
Pleasant accommodations on the quiet East end. Convenient to metropolitan Hana, the black sand beach state park and a visit to the final resting spot of Col. Charles Lindbergh
What pure delight to stay here. The animals are incredible and their caretakers are humans doing good work them to live a good life here. The accommodations are as advertised with anything you could need. Thank you for the goat walks and a great stay!
Large property with many friendly animals. Hosts work with Humane Society and Habitat for Humanity and very accessible to talk to. House is in great shape and had everything advertised
We loved our stay, everything we needed and the bed was super comfortable. How many places can you stay and go for a walk with 3 dogs and 5 or 6 goats. I love goats!! We sat in the evening and watched as the chickens all jumped in and roosted in the trees, fresh macadamia nuts just outside the door, and a nut cracker in the room, sooo good!!! We would definitely stay there again if we ever have the chance to go back.
Although we were only at the farmhouse cottage 1 night, it was very well equipped, very pleasant hosts, and very comfortable. We would stay here again if our travels take us back to Maui.
