Perfect Family Vacation

Great location and layout for our group of eight. The house was well equipped, although it could use some updating. It did take us a couple of days to get the hot tub figured out and to the right temp. It turns out that it had been turned down previous yo our check in. Otherwise, no issues.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A bit disappointed in property. Late 70s decor, somewhat dirty when we arrived. Pool area a mess, with little screened in area around pool. Cockroach issue in master bathroom and walk-in closet. Very disappointed for what we paid.

Little piece of paradise

My family stayed a week for our vacation. The house was better than I expected. Very clean, well stocked and plenty of room for my family of 8 to spread out. The beach was a 5 minute bike away. The outdoor backyard was our favorite. From the large roofed wrap around porch, the pool and spa, and the tiki covered dock that my family spent days fishing off of. The management is very communicative, answer questions very quickly. We can’t wait to come back next year and book this home again.

Marco Island April Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Marco Island was a great location for our family vacation! We had a few issues with the property. We could only use the pool for 1/2 of our stay because it turned green and needed to be shocked. The outside wicker chairs were in rough shape with broken wicker bands and someone fell through one of them. They should be thrown out. The dock boards and framing are in rough shape. One of the dock support members failed under the weight of my skinny 14yo son, and he fell into the canal and banged up his knee.

Great House on Marco Island

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was great for 3 couples. It had everything you needed including 3 bathrooms attached to 3 of the bedrooms. House was well stocked with everything needed to cook in. Close enough to Sunset beach and restaurants to walk. Chairs and coolers for a day at the beach. Fishing poles to fish, corn hole, warm south facing pool with all day sun in March and a open concept living area. We had zero complaints and everyone loved the house. Very comfortable beds. Would definitely stay again.

The house was perfect for our family of 6. It was clean and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking. Nice new BBQ grill too. Pool and hot tub were great. The Property Manager was very good too. Overall it was outstanding.

Perfect Location and Property

The house and location on this rental was amazing. The house was spacious, with the bedrooms spread out so no one felt as if they were on top of each other. The house was very well appointed and the furniture was really comfortable. The exterior living space was very comfortable and provided lots of options for sun/ no sun locations! Also, while no one wants to experience issues on vacation, we did have a hiccup with the house. The team from Harborview Rentals, in particular Dan, went out of their way to make sure everything got fixed and gave great local eats tips while doing it. He was a pleasure and made sure we stressed about nothing!

Perfect location

The house was wonderful, we were within walking distance of not only the beach but lots of different places to eat and shop. The back patio view was great and the house had everything we needed. Property management was quick to respond to all questions and concerns. Would definitely recommend staying here!!

Nice house but Pool only worked 2 days

Prior to arrival I had read a review saying there were problems with no directions on how to operate the hot tub. I asked the manager about the issue and he assured me there were directions for operation in the house on the tablet. We arrived and it did not work. There were no directions and no tablet. We called the manager the next morning and he again said the directions were in the packet he gave me. In the packet were directions for another house. The pool pump was also not working and there were thousands of pieces of plastic floating in the pool making it unusable. They finally called the pool company but they were not able to come out until Thursday afternoon. We had been in the house since Saturday evening. We were clearly upset so they sent out their maintenance person who confirmed that there was something wrong but could not fix it. We were able to use the pool 1.5 days of our 7 day stay. We have asked for a refund of part of our rental fee which was over $6000. They have ignored our request. The reason we chose the house was because of the pool. We otherwise would not have rented it.

Reviewer Comments: The house was everything we were expecting, no complaints there. 2 things somewhat stood out about our stay that if changed could have improved it.1) They (rental company) are cheap when it comes to certain things. Specifically, paper products. I was surprised to learn that they provide you with 1 roll of paper towel and 1 roll of tp per bathroom. This just feels cheap to me. It wasn't exactly cheap to stay here for a week, and i expected those things as well as kleenex (there was one 1/2 full box of kleenex for the entire house) to be provided. So that was frustrating that we had to go out and buy that stuff. 2) Check out was at 10:00 Saturday morning. At 9:00 Saturday morning, I was cooking breakfast and I heard the front door unlock (no knock, no ringing of the doorbell) and in walks a lady. Turns out she's with the cleaning service. I didn't appreciate that at all. The door was locked, you don't knock or ring the doorbell, you just unlock the door and walk in. I was not happy about this.Lastly, my only other complaint is that there was no guest book. Guest books at a vacation rental are very helpful and I wish ours would have had one. Had to figure out how to run the hottub ourselves as there was nothing there that told you how it worked. It's also always nice to read about other people's stays and see where the good places are to eat etc. Other than that, the house was great. Pool and hot tub were both in great shape and worked well (once we figured out how to turn the hot tub on). Great location, 5 minute bike ride to the beach access. Overall a very enjoyable stay, but little things could be improved.

When you need to relax!
