Strožanac vacation rentals

We booked this stay only one day prior to arrival. The place is beautiful and plenty of room with a 4 bedrooms having a king bed. Upon arrival it was very difficult to locate as we never received instructions for checking in. We were just lucky to ask the right person who happened to step outside. No phone numbers were provided for assistance. It is convenient to restaurants but not within walking distance. The location is a bit tricky to locate as the street is more like an alley and very narrow. We were very pleased with the accommodation once we finally got settled in

The house has outstanding views of both the mountains and the city! Its a bit outside the city but thats what we were looking for! We loved it!

Sehr schöne Wohnung. Durch den Pool ist die Wohnung auch bei großer Hitze sehr angenehm. Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und kompetent . Wir hatten ein Problem mit der Waschmaschine und sie hat sehr schnell eine Lösung gefunden. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Beautiful first class home arrived and Claudia was awaiting us there with refreshments and appetizers which was so appreciated ,since we had a very long drive. Im from USA and live in Europe . Weve wanted to visit Croatia for a few years and definitely will be back next year. Podstrana is perfect right next to Split a beautiful city is 5 minute drive away from the city but still there. 5 minute walk to the beautiful beaches, very salty water and my son who has asthama felt so much better after a few days here. We enjoyed the view from the master bedroom of the sea incredible crystal clear water 5 minute walk, to the beach the market even closer 3 minute walk. The owners called and surprised us with an invitation for a traditional meal “ PEKA” it was a real treat . We went to home of locals and they served up this delicious meal. Very nice helpful people . Theres so much to do for everyone its impossible in 9 days. One of our best vacations yet. Thank you for everything, Marlita and Vladas and family

We spent several nights at this property and believe that it is worthy of a five star rating overall. The highlight of this property is the beautiful and private swimming pool, which our family really enjoyed. The owner (and his parents) are super nice and live in an adjacent apartment or condo (the other half of the building), which is nice in case something should arise while you are staying there. The only slight downside to this property is that it is somewhat 'remote,' in a sense, in that it is about a 15 minute Uber ride from the touristy part of downtown to the home (about $20 USD). There is a market within walking distance for groceries and so forth, and if you wanted to walk to the beach, that was only a 5-7 minute long trip. (Because the pool was so nice, we opted to stay there if we were not doing some type of excursion). In the spirit of transparency, the property is located adjacent to a church that chooses to ring the steeple bell on a regular basis, so if you are a super light sleeper, you may want to bring some ear plugs (I don't think they ring it at night --- only in the morning and throughout the afternoon). It did not bother anyone in our family, and I even joked about it with the property owner, but I would be remiss if I failed to mention it. With that said, this property still receives a 5 star rating from us, particularly given the friendly, easy going nature of the owner, whom we really liked. We would stay here again if and when we return to Split!

It is Big...really big, two floors, rooms above, rooms down....and big living room with big kitchen. House is clean and tidy. Airconditions (that is really good). House is in Surburbia of Split, place named Podstrana, Sand beach all around, 2 Marinas. Quiet place for resting after partys or siteseening. Old city Split is beautifull, old Roman Palace, full of caffes or restourants. By the House is 2 fastfoods, only 100 meters on Beach, pizza is perfect, hamburgers,,,and cheep. Every day we was in Supermarkt, 2 of them are in 100 meters, and we was cooking at house...goood. Take Boat, go fisching, or you can do it from schore...fisching permit is sell in Marina. Next year again (Owner will give ous a discount)

Very lovely property. Nice comfy beds and beautiful outdoor patio. We highly recommend it.
