Our loft Home is a brand new, open space, urban-style loft condo with a large master, office area, large family room, large full kitchen, 2 full bathrooms, a large outdoor patio with high end outdoor furniture, Digital Projection home theater with 6 foot + screen view, 1 outdoor propane fireplace, and BBQ gas grill. The home comes equipped with digital internet and digital cable throughout.

Main area is one big open family/entertainment room, kitchen, dining area and front foyer with a french door that opens out to the patio with stunning view of concert park. 1 large couch, 1 large chair with ottoman, glass top dining table, 4 dining chairs, coffee table and entertainment center.

Master Bedroom includes Master Bathroom, closet, large jacuzzi shape tub in shower, queen bed, large chair and TV with cable and DVD player.

Guest Bedroom/Office area includes fold out futon full size bed, desk, office cabinets and extra large screen monitor. There is also a queen size air mattress with blow up device for easy inflation. This queen size mattress can be placed on any floor throughout the home.

Outdoor patio includes 3 outdoor furniture chairs, loveseat style couch, conversation firetable, BBQ gas grill and a plethora of plants.

Arriving at the beginning of summer I quickly fell in love with the natural beauty, intoxicating climate, fast pace and activity rich lifestyle of southern California. I have been an entrepreneur since the age of 17 and I currently own and operate a successful internet marketing organization, own 2 properties in southern California, and am a silent partner in a local, Santa Monica sports bar. I live for the outdoor activities California has to offer and have found my property in Playa Vista to be a quiet, welcoming, peaceful pocket of busy Los Angeles.

Why John Howard chose Los Angeles County

I first noticed Playa Vista through all my trips to Home Depot when I was redoing my first condominium in Santa Monica back in 2002. I learned then that it was the largest coastal community project in the US. Spending time looking at the miniature models and marketing I was most drawn to the lofts. The high ceiling, open space living environment above commercial destinations in a brand new community by the beach seemed to be absolutely perfect. After 3 years of waiting and optimistic persistence I was the 2nd group to select a unit of my choice. During this time there were over 8000 people on the waiting list to buy a loft. I was very fortunate and now have a top floor unit with the best view in the building, looking down on concert park.

What makes this condo unique

Staying at my loft property in Playa Vista you will enjoy the experience of living in a brand new planned community by the beach. My unit is the model that has the largest outdoor patio in the building. You can enjoy the spacious outdoor couch, propane conversation fire table and the BBQ grill. Playa Vista has one of the nicest outdoor community pools in Los Angeles and you can enjoy a hot tub and a health club. There is a quiet bike path to the ocean or Marina Del Ray (approximately 2 mile ride to the ocean). You will also enjoy the convenience of being above a restaurant, bank, coffee bean, and boutique grocery store.

Great stay

Great location and views - you have the farmers markets a few steps away, a cinema, restaurant options, grocery stores, outdoor deck and BBQ and an open kitchen. John was super helpful and accommodating. the only negative really is that since its a loft there are no doors to the room.

Excellent Choice!

My cousin asked me to find her a place to stay to get away from the Chicago Winters. After looking into many places, we choose this property. It was a perfect choice. She enjoyed the wonderful patio with fire pit and barbecue, the excellent location. Each day she went down to Coffee Bean for breakfast and walked to the market right across the street. She hopes to return next winter. The owner was always available and helpful and accommodating. This is truly an excellent choice.

Central to South Bay

Worked perfect for our family....even managed to squeeze in a little sleepover for the kids. It was a little tight and an extra sleeping pad was needed for that. Playa Vista is great, but beware of security....they don't mess around. Patio is small but works and overlooks the park. Walk to caribou and grocery. The condo was new and high quality. Tv and stereo were so complicated that this farm boy couldn't figure them out.

Beautiful and comfortable!

My family stayed at John's lovely condo when visiting LA for my daughter's graduation. We loved the place and John was great to work with (when we forgot to bring the entry way code, we called him at midnight and he was happy to help!). The place is beautifully upgraded and well supplied. The master bathroom is the size of some hotel rooms I've stayed in in NYC! The open concept means that the bedrooms do not have doors but they are on separate ends of the condo and John provides stylish screens that we used in place of doors. The bed linens were high quality and the towels were plush. The best parts were the large, stylish balcony overlooking the park and the pool complex (a block down the street). Every morning I would walk downstairs to the cafe for a coffee and a paper and then return to lounge on the balcony. Every evening we would all spread out by the hot tubs and pools. The location of the condo is good as well. It's close enough to the beaches that we could drive to Venice in about 15 minutes and I could exersize-walk to Marina del Rey on the bike path (40 minutes each way - be impressed!). But it's also close enough to the 405 freeway that we could be on our way just about anywhere in a matter of minutes. We'll definitely be coming back!

Outstanding Property

The owner's description and pictures don't even do the property justice. The balcony view across the park is beautiful. The neighborhood is vibrant, safe, and well kept. It was wonderful being so close to Venice Beach and Santa Monica. I highly suggest this property to anyone looking for a fun, clean, and safe place to stay.
