Overall, clean, easy access, and safe. There is plenty of space. If you are looking for "luxury" this more "down to earth" and a place where kids can be comfortable.
Great space for the whole family! Lovely neighborhood to walk around and short, driving distance to the beach in town it made for a perfect getaway for the whole extended family
The house was perfect for our group (6 adults and 4 teens). It was a very easy drive (and not a terrible walk) down to the Lake, and was very quiet nestled in the woods. We even saw a mama bear and two cubs walk across the back yard one evening! (The bear box is not just there for show!) The owners were very responsive and easy to reach, and check in/check out were extremely easy. Would definitely recommend the house as a North Lake home base for a large group!

The home was beautiful and cozy. There was nothing left to want, kitchen was stocked with dishes for meals, nice bedrooms with TV’s and comfortable beds and a pool table for entertainment. Very peaceful neighborhood close to Kings Beach and shopping. We really enjoyed the back deck to soak in the atmosphere with hot tub and views. Communication and check in were a breeze, Sandy was a great host.

Thanks Lilian! We're so glad you enjoyed the house and surroundings. Hope to see you and your family again soon!
Nice large property and good location. Access to regional park was perfect for our family. Host was super responsive before and during trip. More plates and such would be helpful for a large party, we ended up buying paper plates and plastic silverware since we ate most meals at the home. Pleanty of paper towels, tp, bath towls in the home. Hot tub was a nice bonus. No beach gear available at the home (towels, chairs, umbrella, etc) which were a must when going to local beaches.

Thank you for your thoughtful review Rebecca! We're thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the spacious property and its convenient location, especially the access to the regional park. It's great to know our responsiveness contributed to your positive experience.
We appreciate your feedback regarding the kitchen supplies and will consider adding more plates and utensils for larger groups. We're glad you found the hot tub to be a nice bonus and that we provided plenty of essentials during your stay. Your comments will help us improve for future guests. We hope to welcome you back soon!
Annual family vacation with our children and grandchildren, a total of nine adults and five kids and the house handled this size group with ease. Great location and we had lots of fun, especially playing pool and enjoying the back deck. The house was clean and had a well stocked kitchen. Plenty of rooms, everything you could possibly need, spectacular location, tons of activities, excellent communication with our host. Would highly recommend this property.
Great house for a big group skiing around Lake Tahoe
Great house for a big group skiing around Lake Tahoe. Close proximity to Northstar and Palisades. 7 minutes from grocery store. Staff was also very communicative which helped throughout the planning process and during our stay. 7 bedrooms with 9 beds and an air mattress made it easy for a group of 10 guys. Would stay again!

Thank you for your review Joseph! I hope you'll be back to stay again someday!
We really enjoyed our stay. The house is exactly as shown in the pictures and description, perfect for our group of friends. Nicely equipped, has all the basics for a long stay. The beds were comfortable and enough space for all. Location great. We took advantage of exploring the hiking trails from the house and going back and forth to the lake, bars and restaurants in town was a breeze. Clean comfortable and convenient. We'd stay there again.

Thank you Max! We hope to welcome you back again someday!
Sandy's house was wonderful and comfortably fit everyone in our group. We loved the fireplace and the hot tub was nice and hot! Sandy's team was also very communicative which was extremely helpful as we went up during a big storm and there was a lot of uncertainty around our stay. Once we were there we were impressed by how people came regularly to shovel the back deck and plows were pretty regular allowing us to get out on the slopes even during a giant storm. Our group would definitely stay here again.
Spent the weekend at this property for a family ski trip at Northstar. The location was perfect, no traffic to the ski resort and plenty of stores nearby to stock up the cabin. Lots of bedrooms to spread out for all the adults and the living room was big enough for all of us to hang out in the evenings. The jacuzzi was great for those who want to relax after a long day. Our host had really good communication and was very accommodating. The check in process was super straightforward and whenever we had questions they were quick to get back to us. I would definitely recommend this property to friends, and will come back again in the future!

We had a wonderful time here. We cooked up a great Thanksgiving meal. Just make sure you don’t leave any food in your vehicles. It was around 8 in the morning and we seen a brown bear open up the neighbors car doors and took out a juice box. The kids loved seeing the bear lol. The bear didn’t even leave any scratches on the car doors

Wow Rebecca! So glad you got sighting of one of our local bears. It serves as a great reminder to always clean your car of any food/trash and lock your doors when in Tahoe! I'm happy to hear you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I hope you'll look us up when planning your next trip to Tahoe!

House was ok, needs a bit of TLC and overall cleaning. BBQ was burn out couldn't use, alot of lights burn out, 2 smoke detectors started chirping changed one of the batteries. Couch was horrible, slid on floor when you would sit in it. Would be a good house just needs some updating.

....which has just been completed! The BBQ was replaced, smoke detectors replaced, and a new rug was placed under the sectional couch so it doesn't move. New cleaners hired and extra amenities added. The flooring was replaced 6 months ago.
Hope to have you and your family stay with us again!
We had 10 adults (5 couples) and 3 children for our week at the cabin. The bedroom configuration worked well for us and the extra twin beds in some of the king bedrooms were great for the young children. It was a good base location for hiking, grocery stores in Truckee and Kings Beach, and lake activities at Kings Beach. We made several trips to North Tahoe Regional Park for the wonderful playground and Tahoe Treehouse Adventures. We dined out one night at Jason’s in Kings Beach and cooked in the other 6 nights. The kitchen had an ample supply of plates, cups and flatware for our group. The cookware was adequate; however I would suggest that the “non stick” skillets be replaced and that new plastic utensils be supplied for them. We would have used the nice gas grill but it ran out of propane a few minutes after it was lit.
One potential hazard was the dishwasher door, which had a faulty hinge and would hit the floor when opened.
Everyone enjoyed the pool table!!!
We did use the hot tub twice, once the air had cooled at night, and it was an enjoyable plus. We found several box fans in the closets, which helped cool the house during the very warm days we were there.
All in all, a great family vacation- thanks for sharing the cabin with us!
I've been vacation renting homes in Lake Tahoe for 20 years. I cater to family's and large groups that want a comfortable home to feel at home in. My homes provide this. They have all the amenities including hot tubs and pool tables. The kitchens are well stocked, high end bedding, views, and open floor plans offer you a great home to stay in.
