Extremely Accommodating & Close to Downtown!

Plenty of room, plenty of comfort, and plenty products and items you need for your stay. A great spot if you're heading to downtown events but want to stay a bit away from the all the action.

Family Toad Trip

Everything was perfect for us here. We only used the space as a sleep and shower situation while passing through town, but the unit was clearly set up and wrll thought out for longer stays. Host was great.

Stayover by the Lake

Great location for access to Downtown Cleveland and University Circle. Very clean and comfortable, and host was helpful and accommodating, felt right at home. Super easy access in and checkout.

The Shorelines

We came up from SC with friends to attend a Browns game. First time staying here and it was everything as advertised. Great location, easy access getting to downtown Cleveland. Host Kathryn provided meticulous instructions in checking in and out. Also stocked with everything we needed like hair dryer, plenty of towels, etc. Would definitely book staying here again.

Browns game overnighter

Great host! So many extra little details that make a difference. Great location and perfect for our group of 3. TV in the main room kept freezing, but that was the only issue. No big deal! Will stay again next time we’re in town.

Beautiful condo with lovely furnishings. Very quiet. Felt much more like visiting someone's home then a rental place. The bathrooms were well stocked with towels, there were actually usable staples in the kitchen cabinets unlike most places that are bare. The host was exceptionally communicative and helpful. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Lovely Property

This apartment was very convenient to downtown Cleveland on Lake Erie. Check in procedures and directions were easy. The apartment was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. We had three people in our party, but it could easily fit a larger party. The host was very helpful and responsive to my questions/comments during our stay. I would definitely stay here again!

Not worth the price

Not the best of neighborhoods. Beautiful brick home with nothing else. The beck porch would be nice but never installed concrete on this 10-15 year old home leaving it useless. Everything in the kitchen was cheap. This house in this location with lack of luxury is definitely not worth the price. Previous reviews do not matter because it is not this property. They are for a condo the owner had.

Great location and property

We very much enjoyed our stay. The place was clean and well appointed. The location was very central to everything we wanted to do. Great communication with the property owner. The only disappointing thing was that, based on the ad, we were expecting the unit to face the water. It is on the opposite side and overlooks the parking lot and highway. There are sitting areas that overlook the lake. Would still recommend.

Never got to stay-host tried moving us to a house instead that we didn’t want

Host contacted us in less then 24 hours saying there was no air conditioning and there was a leak and minor renovations going on. We had booked for almost a month. Tried moving us to another place away from the water and told us we could still drive there. Only refunded half our money. Just be sure to check status of condo before booking. And make sure to ask for a pool pass in advance!

Luxury and convenience

Unit was beautiful, well appointed, and Kathy was responsive and had great communication. She was timely and generous with information and flexibility. Key to success is communication and Kathy’s attention. Getting in the building and unit is a bit of a process but Kathy gives clear and complete directions. Would stay here anytime I’m in Cleveland.

High Class Family Comfort

Property was very clean, nicely decorated, and offers several amenities within the building. Unit offered your standard use bath towels and extra sheets and covers in addition to hygiene products (e.g. toothbrush, soaps, facial wipes). Property is a $10-15 Uber ride to First Energy/downtown. Access into building was smooth but if a guest struggles walking it could be cumbersome even with elevator. Suggestion - bring wheeled cart to reduce multiple trips. Kitchen provides the bare basic utensils and pans (only butter knives). We were very pleased with our experience and will save this location for future visits. Thank you!

Not in a great neighborhood

The neighborhood that this home is in is questionable to say the least and made our group so uncomfortable we did not stay after paying for three nights. The lawn/landscaping has not been maintained. Broken lights in the entryway. Home is clean and very nice but there was no access to the garage and leaving the cars in the driveway was not something we felt comfortable doing. This is NOT on the same street as the original apartment that I booked which became unavailable due to repairs. Feel duped to say the least. Stating that there are regular patrols in the area didn't reassure us but made us feel more uncomfortable with the location. First terrible experience we have had in the 8 years we have been using VRBO both internationally and in the US.

Renter BEWARE

I don’t write these words lightly! We rented a condo and were told there were issues and moved my rental to this house. I read the previous reviews about this HOUSE (not condo) they were all concerning. She had an excuse for every other bad review on this house. The house is in a bad neighborhood!! On the edge where it gets much worse. To illustrate how bad, we DIDN'T even STAY at this house once we checked in, toured the house and saw the neighborhood. Got on the phone and rented hotel rooms for us. Did we lose money? Yes, but we were safe. We looked around the house and there were lots and lots of outside cameras. There was decorative paper covering the window in the front door and the two side door windows. The door was beautiful. The home is beautiful, but in a bad location. There was a baseball bat by the bed for protection and not playing baseball. There were 4 adults, women and men in our party and no one felt good about staying here. The hotel was so great to check into. A beacon of light after a horrible VRBO situation. I will never rent a house again after this experience! Read the reviews and remember renter beware! I should have trusted the other reviews about the HOUSE. The overall score of 9/10 is for the CONDO.

Family Getaway Airshow Weekend

Modern, spacious and clean.

We really enjoyed our stay. The VRBO was very modern, spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. Our host was available and easy to communicate with. I would recommend this VRBO and gladly stay again!

Cannot recommend enough!

There are not enough words to express how great this location is! Not to mention how accommodating and helpful Kathryn was! The waterfront location was beautiful, the space itself was decorated impeccably, and everything looked new it was so clean. Kathryn thought of everything when considering amenities and one would be hard-pressed to think of something needed that she has not already provided. It is a very short distance to everything you would want to do in the city but still offers a peaceful setting. I know if we find ourselves in Cleveland again there is nowhere else we want to stay
