We LOVED the house. It was very clean and exactly as advertised. Very comfortable and well equipped. The pool was cleaned and topped up during our stay. There were two big fans to help keep us cool in the heat. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds and lovely fresh linen. Beautiful garden with artificial grass (don’t looks lush no matter the weather) and good quality garden furniture. We were very pleased and impressed.The information provided by the host company was a bit confusing and despite booking via this site in English, all the communications were in French. We translated them ok, but the information still meant we were confused and needed to contact them before travel, and then the person we spoke to couldn’t speak English. Luckily we can speak some French but otherwise we would have been stuck.A minor warning though… the site/resort the property is on is very basic in terms of facilities. There is a tennis court and a table tennis table, but the reception wouldn’t answer any questions as we weren’t their customer, and the shop was a couple of shelves of random products. So definitely don’t rely on that for any grocery shopping!In summary, we would absolutely book to stay in the house again and there is plenty to do locally (highly recommend visiting the centre of Les Sables D’Olonne and the harbour… beautiful!) so you can ignore the site the house is on and just enjoy it as a lovely property. We loved it!
