Yard maintenance is done twice a month on Tuesdays. He's done in about 30 minutes and will do his best to not disrupt your vacation experience.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! This home was perfect for the four of us with plenty of room to spare. It was very clean and comfortable with convenient lake access. Amazing Property!

This house had it all! The teens had the lower level as their hangout with plenty of space to sleep and hang out (has its own kitchen)! All the lake toys were there (kayaks, paddle boards) and the private swim area was great. The fire pit - best thing ever and they even had smore ingredients for us! Top notch all the way around!

The house is super clean, remodeled, great kitchen and bathrooms, comfortable mattresses. The owners really go the extra mile. Kitchen is stocked spices, coffee, condiments..etc. the area was quiet and peaceful. Great stay!!

Perfect vacation home on Lake Martin with great owners taking care of us. Kirk helped with finding a golf cart rental for my disability to transport me down to the dock. Home was very well stocked with all needs to start our vacation. Publix and Walmart close by and does deliver to this home. 5 star rating

Spring Break 2025

From the moment we arrived we were very pleased with the cleanliness and layout of this house. My teanage kids enjoyed the access to the water and the kayak and paddleboard that is available with this rental. The owners were very communicative and attentive to anything we needed! Great place for a family lake vacation!

Beautiful lake house with peaceful views in a quiet slough! Enjoyed the sunsets and feeding the ducks from the dock. Well-equipped and super clean. The owners are very thoughtful of guests and our family enjoyed getting to know them a little. We look forward to visiting again.

Awesome owners, generous kind people. They thought of absolutely everything. Best supplied property we have experienced. Communication with them was also a breeze. House was well organized as they had labeled everything for us. Setting and view was perfect. Layout worked well for our family with the main level and more space on lower level. My favorite spot was the screened it dining/sitting area overlooking the water.Firepit was wonderful next to the water in the evening.Went out on our boat daily exploring all the coves and little islands. Granddaughters and dogs loved it too. Our family would rate this trip a 12 out of 10.

Amazing Weekend at Lake Martin!

This house is perfect! So very spacious we weren’t crowded at all. The amenities we’re great they have everything you could need. Our girls are 4-9 and they had the best time! The s’mores and hot chocolate the hosts provided for our October nights by the fire pit were perfect! We seriously can’t wait to come back! 5 stars for sure!

Gorgeous sunsets

We loved our vaca getaway...it was just too short :) The house is well equipped and the hosts are very responsive. A few notes: if you have small kids or have physical limitations, the living room is sunken with stairs and there are a multiple levels with stairs exterior also, and the kitchen isn't open to the living area for keeping an eye on children, these factors didn't affect our stay, but worth being mindful of. There's a nice area fenced for the dogs, which was very handy. All the beds were very comfortable as well. It's a beautiful home in a beautiful area!

First lake vacation

We were a little anxious about a lake vacation since we have always gone to the beach. It was a very fun change for us. First of all the water was warm and the kayak and paddleboard a lot of fun. Lake Martin is amazingly uncrowded. The house was beautifully decorated, the landscaping was lovely, the kitchen was well appointed. The hosts provided many thoughtful extras. It was a very relaxing and fun week.

Family gathering place to celebrate Graduation

Family came to town for my sons graduation and we wanted to spend time together. Rented this home. Was perfect. House and all furnishings were very nice. Best stocked kitchen of any house I’ve rented through Vrbo. Owner was quick to respond to questions. Lots of supplies in kitchen to cook meals and clean up after. All beds were comfortable. Lots of space in all rooms. We had 3 couples and one more adult and had plenty of space. House was 3 min from highway 280. Maybe 10 min from Publix. Exactly 30 minutes to Auburn campus. Easy to find. Driveway is tricky (and very steep) but parking in cul de sac was good too. Beautiful view too! Would love to stay here again!

Family Christmas

We had a family Christmas gathering at our lake house on Lake Martin but needed extra sleeping space and chose this house. The host were so nice! They gave us an early checkin and late checkout without us even asking. They also left gingerbread house kits for the kids and dog biscuits for the dogs. The house is very spacious, furnishings were extremely comfortable. The entire house was so clean!! It was so convenient to have a fenced space for the dogs to potty! We will definitely choose this property for any future overflows at our lake house.

Lake Martin Christmas

We had a wonderful stay. I am originally from Alex City, but have not lived there for 30 years. My parents live in a small condo on the lake. So when we decided to join them for Christmas we needed a home that would accommodate our whole family. Our family members traveled from Dallas,New York and Nebraska. This beautiful home had everything we needed and more. The owners decorated the home for Christmas prior to our arrival. They even provided us with s’mores supplies.unfortunately, we did not make to the fire pit before it rained. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed to cook a full Christmas dinner. We had great communication with the home owners during our stay. I would highly recommend staying in their beautiful lake home. It was a perfect backdrop for our family Christmas.

I can’t say enough about the amenities at this lake home. Exceptionally clean and modern. A standout kitchen with everything one would need to prepare a meal. Great covered decks and ample seating options. Dock area and fire pit area are first rate. The cove is quiet and the steps into water make it easy for swimming. There were floaties and a paddle board and kayak and extra life jackets. I will warn anyone with mobility issues that there are many steps but we are in our 70’s and managed just fine. This property is just beautiful and a 5 minute ride to the marina to gas up for your boat. The cove is much wider than some we’ve rented and so easy to maneuver the pontoon for skiing and tubing. Great time was had by all—last big fling before it’s back to school next week. Thanks to the owners for checking in with us and sharing their home.

My wife and I recently moved to Alabama and fell in love with the view and charm of this lakehouse.

Why they chose this property

Its location is ideal... Just 5 minutes off Highway 280, close enough to access stores and restaurants yet far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet of the lake. It's a quick 35 minute drive to Auburn. It very comfortable for sleeping 8 adults, an upper and lower living room with each featuring a new wide screen smart TV. At the waterfront you can lounge and watch the sunset, have a bonfire with your family, fish from your private dock or moor your boat and/or jetski.

What makes this property unique

Panoramic view of the lake and fantastic sunsets. Enjoy your morning coffee on the covered deck overlooking the cove and watch the ducks paddle by while the fish jump in the distance.
