Steinhuder Meer VOGELNEST 2 room apartment by the lake sauna balcony sea view peace and quiet

The comfortably furnished and family-friendly apartment with a small separate bedroom (a nest from a bird's eye view) is located on the 4th Floor in house 49 BII Nautilus in the holiday park directly on the Steinhuder Meer.
The apartment is best suited for two to three adults or for a small family with up to 2 children, whereby the children would have to sleep in the fold-away bed and on the sofa that was not pulled out. The sofa is NOT SUITABLE for adults!
From the balcony you have a side view of the Steinhuder Meer and a green park. The Steinhuder Meer is only about 90 meters from your house entrance. Small sailing boats are there in the marina and you can already see the bathing island in the immediate vicinity.

In the apartment there is a small fitted kitchen with a 2-burner stove. Oven is not available. Instantaneous water heater, sink. Coffee machine, toaster and kettle are available.
You will find salt, pepper, flour, sugar, 2 garbage bags, Zewa, coffee filter 1x4, as well as tea and tea lights, dish soap and brush, tea towels and hand soap are available in the cupboards.

Different sleeping options are available:
1.small separate bedroom with a beautiful raised double bed (145 cm x 205 cm), mattress with a hardness of 2
Second Three-seater couch, if necessary, can be pulled out (approx. 135cm x 185 cm) lying surface with hardness level 3 (only suitable for children and not for adults)!
Third Wall bed as required (90 cm x 200 cm) mattress with degree of hardness 3
1 foldable children's bed from Hauck, in which children from 1 month to 2 years can be accommodated. (Please let us know in advance if this is required!

The cozy dining area offers space for 4 people at a round, extendable table with four chairs.

You can find a parking space for your car on the east side of the holiday complex. From there you can get to the elevator without steps. There are also free parking spaces on the roadside on Bleichenstrasse, right in front of the holiday park.

Width: 2.40 m
Height: 2.03 m

With a wheelchair you can take the elevator from the east side to the 4th Floor. The swimming pool is only accessible by stairs!
The swimming pool / indoor pool and the sauna with a small wellness area (loungers, relaxation room) can be used free of charge in the house.
It is best to jump into the warm water (24 degrees) before breakfast and start the day fresh and fit. Swimming pool and sauna area can be used daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. (Please note the cleaning times).
A solarium can be used for a small fee (coins).

The washroom is equipped with high-quality coin-operated washing machines and dryers and is located on the same level as the apartment. You can get coins at the nearby petrol station.

Your vacation home is oriented towards the west. If you want, you can watch the sunset from your vacation home and end the day. This works wonderfully from the balcony or from the 145 cm x 205 cm double bed in the separate small bedroom.
There is a step to the balcony that cannot be overcome with a wheelchair !!!

All windows can be completely darkened with shutters as required. Windows in the bedroom and the balcony door are lockable.

There is a sailing club at the end of the resort. Courses can also be attended there.

The bathing island with sandy beach and large meadow is within sight and about 10 minutes' walk away and invites young and old to swim and play ball. There are also great new playgrounds, as well as public toilets and a kiosk with a beautiful terrace and jetty.
When the weather is nice, you can relax on lonely benches directly by the sea.

A bus stop is right on your doorstep on Bleichenstraße.
A short walk into the village takes about 15-20 minutes.

There you can book various boat trips to the island of Wilhelmstein, as well as other boat tours on the Steinhuder Meer. Emigrant boats, pedal boats, electric boats and rowing boats are available from the various rental companies. Stand up paddling is now also brand new.

Sports:
Jogging, sailing, rowing, surfing, kiting, hiking, golfing, cycling, tennis, climbing garden, walking, stand up paddling.

In Steinhude you will find a butterfly farm, a fishing and weaving museum, various playgrounds, a barn area, a quaint town center with changing themed events, the Paula windmill, mini golf course, weekly market and flea market, bike rental and other interesting facts. Steinhude has something to offer for all ages.

You can also simply stroll through the small shops or spoil your taste buds in a cozy fish or dining restaurant. Ice cream parlors and fish stalls are available in various backyards or on the street.

You can go shopping in Steinhude 7 days a week during the season. Grocery stores are also open on Sundays. The nearest grocery store is about 1.1 kilometers from your apartment.
You can enjoy breakfast daily in a nearby café and bakery. It is approximately 600 meters from your accommodation.

For example: Dinopark in Münchehagen; Exhibitions in the art barn; Events at the Stadttheater Wunstorf; Flea markets and antique markets in the Scheunenviertel; Historical evening tours; Moor walks - by boat into the moor; Easter fire; City tour in Wunstorf; Barbecues at the mini golf course; Boat trips with dusk; Baking like in Omi's times in Auhagen.

The Steinhuder Meer is on the occasion of the World Water Day on the 22nd March 2017 by the International Environmental Foundation Global Nature Fund (GNF) and the Network Living Lakes Germany (NLSD) as "Living Lake of the Year". With almost 30 square kilometers, the Steinhuder Meer is the largest lake in Lower Saxony and north-west Germany.
With exemplary, successful visitor guidance, the Steinhuder Meer nature park is now regarded as a model model recognized nationwide.

Hanover can be reached in about 36 kilometers and also invites to many leisure activities.
