This cottage for 5 people welcomes you in an exceptional bucolic setting. Nestled on the hillside in the picturesque village of Montgaillard-sur-Save, the house combines old-world charm with modern comfort. You'll discover two very large bedrooms with comfortable bedding, ideal for families or colleagues; a spacious living room bathed in light with exposed beams for those who appreciate authenticity; and a fully enclosed garden, perfect for children or for spending time together in the great outdoors. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Pyrenean peaks every morning, while being just a few steps from the legendary GR86 hiking trail, popular with hikers and nature lovers. An ideal base for exploring the wonders of the Southwest. Several trails are available to suit your interests: hiking (the GR86 passes in front of the cottage), cultural discovery (Montmaurin ruins and Museum 12km away, the Aurignacian Forum Museum 15km away, Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges, one of the most beautiful villages in France, 40km away), swimming in the Gorges de la Save 8km away or at Lake Gimone 18km away (in the Gers department), etc. Then, upon returning, relax around the private above-ground pool (6.20m diameter, 1m deep). The courtyard and enclosed garden are available. The cottage adjoins the owners' house. Access via two steps: entrance into the living room (wood-burning stove), kitchen, two bedrooms (one 140cm double bed) (three 90cm single beds), hallway leading to a bathroom and a separate toilet. No heating in the cottage (closed from October to May).
