Host was very communicative. House was clean and comfortable for our four adults but we could easily have fit one or two more. Close to Jim Thorpe, Lake Harmony and Hickory Run State Park.

What a cozy, beautiful home! We loved our stay here, it was awesome as advertised. Calm and peaceful, beautiful area and neighborhood, not too far from Jim Thorpe. Our host was very accommodating and communicative. We'd definitely love to stay here again next time we come through the Poconos!

Relaxing and comfortable

The location is safe and friendly, I was very comfortable staying here and walking to the water. Amenities nearby, house is well-equipped and staying was very comfortable. I recommend this place.

Wonderful winter escape

My family spent a lovely long weekend playing games and hanging out by the fireplace. Christine was an amazing host - always easy to get a hold of and highly communicative! The property was cozy and perfect.

Excellent weekend getaway

The property was perfect for our 4th of July weekend getaway. Christine was amazing with the process and that helped make our stay even better. We could have not asked for more for our family, we will be back for sure.

Wonderful stay!

We loved our vacation staying at Wanda’s dream which we found to be perfect for our family. We have plenty of room and found the location be perfect with access for skiing and other area attractions. Excellent communication with host who went out of her way to make sure we had everything that we needed. highly recommend!

Great poconos get away!!

My family and I had a wonderful week in the poconos. The property was clean and had everything you need for a great vacation. Christine the owner was very helpful and made herself very accessible for questions. If you are looking at the property for your vacation go for it!!

Great family time in Albrightsville

I would highly recommend this property for a week or weekend in this part of the Poconos. House and location are both really nice and there’s a lot of amenities in the Towamensing Trails development. Owner is a pleasure to deal with and would definitely here again.

Great spot for a Pocono getaway. It’s close to the community beach/lake/pool, not too far from some local wineries and the cool little town of Jim Thorpe. The house was clean and comfy, and the owner Christine was very nice and easy to work with. Five stars.

Low key week away

The home was clean and as described. The owner was attentive and communicative before we even arrived.. There was great hiking nearby and hanging out on the lake beach was a calm way to spend the days (although I highly recommend driving over, it’s more than a little walk).

We loved our long weekend getaway. The house is clean, in a quiet neighborhood, the description is as stated, Christine is very quick to answer any questions and i would definitely stay here again. Great location in the Poconos area.

House was well laid out, properly equipped and clean. It was great to be able to bring our dog as well. He also enjoyed himself.. We had a beautiful view from our deck every day with lots of deer to entertain us.We hope to go back again in the near future.

Wonderful Holiday Getaway

My family and I were looking for a quiet Christmas retreat and found EXACTLY what we were looking for, here. The house is even cozier than listing implies (which is already pretty cozy), the space and layout accommodated my family perfectly, and we found all of the cleaning and cooking essentials we needed easily and plentifully. Christine is also an exceptional host who address all of our needs beforehand and decorated her home for us ahead of our arrival. I am a much poorer communicator than she is, but I appreciated her communications thoroughly. Expect to be treated well and to relax comfortably at this home!

Perfect for families

We had a magical week here with our 11 month old and our 3 year old, who was particularly taken with the friendly deer who visited the house daily. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking and living space was very comfortable. The neighborhood amenities (beach, pool, playground) were family friendly and we were within a half hour to lots of hiking, biking, and family fun (Jim Thorpe train ride, Country Junction petting zoo, etc.). Christine was such a responsive host and we hope to come back in different seasons!

Absolutely The Best!

Wanda's Dream is worth 500 stars! It is such a gorgeous, lovely home, which is spacious with all the comforts, and is decorated beautifully in such a cozy manner. And its location is incredible. We loved staying here and this will be our go to place whenever we get a few days time off, because I cannot think of a better place to relax and vacation at. Christine is such a wonderful host and such a lovely lady, with excellent taste - and she has the most beautiful house in the most gorgeous place. I didn't want to leave! We will keep going to this beautiful home again and again!

Summer vacation for family of 5

We had a great vacation at this Pocono house! Christine was very helpful and informative throughout the entire process. Each room was clean, spacious, and welcoming, and we especially enjoyed the amenities that we haven't experienced at other Pocono houses (dishwasher, air conditioning, linens included). We had plenty of room for two adults and three small children, and our children especially enjoyed the spacious back deck and the abundance of deer and other wildlife. They are already asking when we can go back!

All's right in Albrightsville

Enjoyed a wonderful long weekend with my wife and dog at this cozy chalet in the Poconos. So close to everything - Jim Thorpe, Big Boulder, Lake Harmony and Mount Airy Casino we have so many reasons to go back. Because it's been so dry this fall the leaves weren't that vibrant but having so many other things to do and places to eat made us forget the leaf peeping. Our dog loved hanging out on the porch and staring back at the deer who were constant companions in the back yard area. Saw some turkeys as well so it was great to get back to nature! House is very cozy and has everything you'll need. Lots of vintage books and games. Christine is a wonderful, hands-on owner and answered all of our questions ahead of time as well as providing great recommendations for local restaurants and stores. A great place to stay and we hope to return soon.

A slice of Heaven

Despite the fact that COVID shut down the lake and many amenities the community offers, this will still go down as one of the best vacations we have taken, making memories that will last a lifetime. The house is more serene and tranquil than you can imagine. We sat out every morning drinking coffee on the deck while our kids played. Christine had a high chair and a baby gate there for us which was a life saver. She was incredibly easy to reach and answered the few questions we have. We would recommend Christine’s place to anyone that wants a relaxing time away from home.

Since my son was very young, we rented houses throughout the Poconos for skiing. They were some of the best memories of our lives and we cherished the day that we could own a home of our own. Now we would like to share that world with you so that you may create wonderful memories with your family.

The Poconos has always been a refreshing vacation spot, with even more activities than the Jersey shore. Towamensing Trails, near Big Boulder/Lake Harmony, has wonderful amenities for adults and children. The beach area is large and the lake is stocked with trout and very clean. Many people enjoy the large swimming pool and there is a special pool just for the kids. The community is close to Big Boulder, Pocono Raceway, many lakes and parks, golf courses, shopping, antiquing, horsebacking riding, and hiking and biking trails. We enjoy boating, so we make use of the community lake and nearby Beltzville State Park.
