Greart Ogden Canyon Retreat

Convenient and clean with lots of character! Worked great for working remotely for a month and close-by home base for skiing and exploring. Easily the best equipped VRBO we've ever stayed at. Highly recommended. Owner is very reliable and responsive.

5* Cozy, Comfortable and Beautiful

Feels like home but better. The beauty of the canyon was mesmerizing with the creek running below the cottage deck, the jagged rock mountains reaching up to the sky, and beautiful trees with fall colors surrounding the canyon. I took walks everyday. The cottage was so homey and pretty with whimsical decorations in and outdoors that bring a fun vibe to staying there. The owner is super nice and accommodating. I had everything I needed to feel at home. Loved having a washer and dryer in the house! Very convenient to grocery stores, fuel, shopping, hiking and 4-5 ski resorts. Loved every minute of this cottage and location. Nice neighbors too.

Great Choice: Cozy Cottage in the Canyon!

Can't say enough about this property. The house was just as listed and pictured. It is a charming house nestled in Ogden Canyon right on the river. It is cozy and warm and full of character. The loft provides a stunning view of the mountain. House was well stocked in the kitchen and bathroom, which had a spa-like feel. The wood burning stove provided a nice opportunity to snuggle in on a cold day. I worked remote for 2 months during my stay. Even in the canyon, the Wi-Fi worked great and I had no issues. The location is perfect- only 25 minutes to both Snow Basin and Powder Mountain as well as the heart of Ogden. The hosts were fantastic- so accommodating and responsive! I would highly recommend this property and look forward to returning again.

Cozy and charming home on a river

Scott and Patti’s place is absolutely amazing. So much charm! The location is close to so many outdoor adventures, and it’s also in a quiet community where you can sit by the river and watch the hummingbirds for hours. Wild turkeys, a kingfisher, and osprey were regular visitors. There is a grocery store just a few miles away, and several different restaurants. Scott and Patti were so welcoming and respectful. The neighbors were all so kind, and as I walked my dog it was nice to chat with them.

The Perfect Stay

Have to say pretty spoiled at this rental! Comfy and cozy and estecially pleasing! We enjoyed fires in the wood stove, caught some trout out front in the river, grilled out and its just two miles down the road to Timbermine Steakhouse, Rainbow Gardens gift shop which is huge and also has a restaurant (The Greenery) which is really neat, and Ogden's George S. Eccles Dinosaur Park. There are several walking trails over there and you can see some dinosaur exhibits and hear the sounds of them as you walk the Ogden River Parkway Trail. The trail is safe and easy to walk leading to a small playground and dog park from there its endless for walking trails! Close to several ski hills, Eden is just 8 miles up the road which is a cute little town we love Saddlebag Saloon which has live music, also Shooting Star Saloon is a neat little burger and beer place. Overall more than pleased!! Scott was awesome to work with! Will stay again!!
