The air-conditioned Christian property was opened on August 1st, 2016 and is only a few minutes' walk (approx. 250 m) from the Zicksee bank and is open all year round.
It is located at the beginning of a cul-de-sac and is completely fenced.

The holiday home consists of an air-conditioned living room / bedroom with a double bed (lying area 180x190, 2 air-conditioned rooms, each with a pull-out sofa (lying area 160x200 and 145x200), 1 large kitchen, bathroom with shower, separate toilet and veranda with dining area. A Weber charcoal grill and fast WiFi internet are available free of charge.
A retractable awning on the large terrace or a large weeping willow in the garden provide sufficient shade. You use the large garden all by yourself!
You can park your car for free on the fenced private property.

The St. Martins Therme & Lodge (approx. 4 km) and Podersdorf am Neusiedler See (approx. 15 km) are nearby. For the St. Martins Therme you get a 30% discount if you order in advance.

Das Haus ist herrlich ruhig gelegen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Nur das Mobiliar und die Küchenausstattung sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Entspannung pur in der Lackenlandschaft

Das Haus ist super für bis zu 6 Leute. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen - es gibt sogar 6 Fahrräder mit den man die Gegend erkunden kann. Der Gastgeber Christian war sehr zuverlässig, hat alle Fragen schnell geklärt und nürzliche Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt gegeben. Kommen gerne wieder.

Hervorragender Ausgangspunkt für Vogelbeobachtung und Fahrten nach Ungarn/Slowakei

Wir hatten 16 Nächte gebucht, um im Nationalpark Neusiedler See/Seewinkel Vögel zu beobachten und zu wandern. Hierfür war der Standpunkt des Ferienhauses sehr empfehlenswert. Einziger Nachteil war die überschaubare Anzahl an Restaurants, weil sich das Ferienhaus nicht direkt im Ort Sankt Andrä befand, sondern 2,3 km entfernt, dafür direkt am See. Unsere Buchung hatten wir mit dem Gedanken getätigt, im Zicksee zu baden. Zwar war der See nur 10 Minuten zu Fuß vom Ferienhaus entfernt, aber er war leider nicht zum Baden geeignet. Zahlreiche Wasservögel bevölkerten den See, was für uns natürlich ein gelungener Ausgleich für das fehlende Badevergnügen war. Vor 2 Jahren soll der See noch ausgetrocknet gewesen sein. Der Gastgeber hat uns freundlich begrüßt und eingewiesen. Waschmaschine und ggf. Trockner sollten für eine Benutzung im Vorfeld "angemeldet" werden. Die Einrichtung des Hauses war jetzt nicht unbedingt modern, aber es fehlte uns an nichts.Verbesserungsvorschläge wurden im Rahmen unseres Auscheckens vom Vermieter dankend aufgenommen.Hervorzuheben ist noch der Pellet-Ofen, der an kühleren Tagen für ausreichend Wärme sorgt. Pellet-Säcke standen in ausreichender Mänge kostenfrei zur Verfügung. Ebenso Toilettenpapier, Waschutensilien und Waschmittel für die Waschmaschine. Der Garten bietet Grillmöglichkeiten und Zeit für Entspannung. Zwei Staaren-Paare brüteten in der dort befindlichen Weide. Nachts waren u.a. auch eine Waldohreule, der Fasan und der Wachtelkönig zu hören.

If we could give this place 6 stars we would. We required accomodation for myself and husband plus my son and wife to attend a wedding nearby in Haltburn. I just loved the whole Home And Away experience too. Christien was such a great host and provided flexibility for our stay, accomodating a very early check-out. The property is everything and much more. We loved the layout of the house. And it was so well equipped. I could not think of anything we were missing. The garden was a great place for breakfast around most comfortable chairs and sturdy table. The kitchen was so well equipped with lots left for us. We appreciated having coffee machines and all equipment was working. The crockery was so Austrian for us and it was all present and in excellent condition. The bathroom was modern and many towels were provided. The location of the house was good. We had a hired car. And we enjoyed our walks to the beach. The restaurants we tried were all good. Must recommend Stefans Corner for dinner. This is a place to make memories with your family which is priceless. The family will still be talking about that time in Austria for many years to come. Thank you for m aking this possible. "The best things about memories is making them" .... The only negative thing was we did not stay long enough!
