Relax in a peaceful, comfortable lake house w/ all the joys of being feet away from the water! 2 queen beds, 1 Double, 1 queen sofa sleeper, 1 futon, 2 full bathrooms, & picture window views! Launch your boat at Snag Cove boat launch under a mile away & moor it on the shoreline in front of the cabin for easy access during your stay! 400 feet of shoreline to fish, swim, relax & play! The only property in the area w/ easy access to the water via a gentle grassy slope! Enjoy your coffee out on the peaceful deck & soak in nature!

The space
1800 square feet of living with a daylight basement, 4 bedrooms/sleeping areas (2 non-conforming), a Queen pull-out sofa sleeper in the living room, a full bathroom on each level, cultured stone and granite fireplaces in the living area and master bedroom, and large picture windows leading out to your wrap-around Trex deck for GORGEOUS views. Gated access for privacy along with plenty of parking space. Full kitchen, comfy furniture, and lots of privacy! Patio furniture and a gas BBQ grill are provided.

Guest access
Access through paved rural roads, gated access to the property with plenty of parking. The driveway gets a bit steep in the middle but not where you park. 4 wheel drive is recommended during winter/spring or you can park at the top near the gate and take a short walk down to the house.

We are 25 minutes from Safeway/Starbucks/Wal-Mart located in Colville and 15 minutes from Kettle Falls. Several Wineries are also in the area offering excellent tastings and selections!

We are dog-friendly. Cats are not allowed due to owner family allergies.

We are EV-friendly and provide an extension cord for EV vehicles charging off of 110v for free. The closest EV chargers are located in Colville (22 miles). We have plans of installing a fast charger in the future and will update this info when it is complete.
Other things to note

Unfortunately, docks are not allowed on Lake Roosevelt by residents. Most of the LR shoreline is rocky, however, the section in front of our property has smaller river rock (see pictures) which makes it easy to access.

Due to the terrain and steps, we are not wheelchair-friendly. If you would like more pictures or have questions about access please reach out!

Verizon coverage is about 1 bar in the house via a cell phone booster. Not sure about other providers but will update and would appreciate feedback from those with other cell carriers on what their signal was!

We are now happy to provide Wifi delivered via Starlink Internet services!

We highly recommend "cancel for any reason" travel insurance. We strictly adhere to our cancellation policy set forth by VRBO. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to message us.

We have 2 security cameras. One is located looking at the driveway and one looking at the lake. These are not viewing areas of expected privacy and are for the security of the house since it is in a remote location and not always occupied. If you have concerns about this, please message me before booking.

Waterfront Home Kettle Falls

Very relaxing stay! Great location and views over Lake Roosevelt. Clean and well organized house. Didn’t read that there wasn’t cell phone coverage or Wi-Fi coverage or even cable TV service so that took some adjustment but the place is perfect for a glass of wine and a good book.

Nice area, but wish there was an easier way to load and unload, and better access to fish or play in the water. Lots of bees and bugs, but it is August. We spent most of our time relaxing inside.

Our family of 6 and 2 pups had a great time! Comfortable home with lovely deck & views! We had fun as brought our boat and tied up at the shoreline , 2 kayaks and paddle board! A/ C was wonderful as was a summer heat wave. Amenities were good!Wished all beds were queens as doubles are hard for adult couples.Kettle Falls and boat launch near by!

Boating Weekend

This place was perfect for a boating weekend! You're right on the water and can pull your boats right up behind the house. We also found an awesome cliff jumping spot nearby. Definitely one of my favorite trips so far! Hosts were great and they responded to my inquiries very quickly. I would definitely go back! Thank you for everything!

Beautiful view

This property is a fishing cabin. If you have any mobility issues this house is not for you. Extremely unsafe entry stairs made out of pavers that are unstable with no railing . Says you can ask to have security cameras turned off during stay but we were told no .no one wants to be watched by owners while on vacation. We left a day early because of it.

BEAUTIFUL VIEW

The home is large, roomy and none of us felt packed in the house. everything you need from cooking stuff, dishes, coffee pot, outdoor grill, comfy furniture, fireplace, washer/dryer, laundry soap, fabric sheets, garbage bags, etc.. bathrooms had towels, soaps, hairdryers, etc. You only needed to bring yourself, food, drinks and anything 'special' that is not normally stocked. Our stay was in HOT weather, and the AC worked well. Nice drive to the home as well. Only disadvantage was the steep driveway. we needed all wheel or 4wheel to do the steep hill. but once inside, it was perfect :-) thank you for sharing your lovely home and allowing us to have our family come from Utah and all be under one roof, to make our summer memories. Can't wait until next summer.. And they had WIFI.

Beautiful Roosevelt Lake

The house is beautiful, comfortable and has a awesome view if the lake. We were able to moor our pontoon boat on the beach. Each day we walked down to the boat and spend our day exploring the lake and swimming in coves. Evenings we barbecued and sat on the patio enjoying good food and wonderful friends.

Why they chose this property

We purchased this gem in December of 21' to have a quiet place to get away from our busy hectic jobs and make memories with our daughter and extended family with the intention share the property with others that may be looking for the same thing! We love the giant living room, looking out the huge windows, and enjoying the area.

The scenery never gets old and is beautiful. Rick is an avid fisherman and enjoys the bounties that Lake Roosevelt provides for recreation and some delicious dinner!

What makes this property unique

This is the only property in the area with direct, easy access to the water!! It is a very slight, grassy grade down to the lake which you can see in the pictures! The original owners chose the location for that reason and built as close to the water as they legally could.

Being able to launch your water toys blocks from the house and then park them on the shore right in front is truly refreshing and enjoyable!

We love how quiet it gets. It is almost eerie! In the winter months you might get a glimpse of the northern lights!

The quiet is sometimes sometimes interrupted by Navy F-18 Super Hornets that will fly the canyon at only 500 ft or so! It's an incredible sight and sound, like your own private air show!

Come see for yourselves! It's a really amazing spot!
