This is the perfect opportunity to rent a wonderful beachfront condominium on St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. This condominium is right on the beautiful Sapphire Beach with an absolutely gorgeous view of the stunning aqua waters. You cannot get any closer to the beach then in this condo. Another great thing about this condo is that it's located just half a mile from the quaint little town of Red Hook, home to numerous shops, restaurants, bars, and the ferry to St. John.

The gorgeous, aqua waters of Sapphire Beach offers amazing snorkeling and warm white sand. If you don't feel like getting sandy, no problem, the pool, with plenty of relaxing deck space is also right outside your door. We hope to see you here on St. Thomas soon, it really is a special place. Lastly, we are willing to consider monthly rentals, and price is negotiable based on the duration of your stay.

Why Kirk Boeger chose Charlotte Amalie West

This is the best location on the property, as it is steps from either beach or the pool. It also faces the perfect direction into the Easterly breezes, so you can enjoy the fresh air.

What makes this condo unique

Tons of palm trees line the beach, offering well deserved shade. The white sand beach is incredible, as nice as any other location in the world. And the snorkeling right off the beach is fantastic. This property is also very close to many great restaurants and bars.

Amazing views

  • 5 of 5

This property was everything Kirk said it would be. It is all you need to have the perfect vacation. We snorkeled on the beach right off the balcony, saw beautiful coral and sea turtles out by the breakwater. There is a great swimming beach a little to the left of the pool. The pool was never crowded, actually the entire beach area where we stayed had only a few people. It is the perfect location to catch the ferry from Red Hook to St. John, less than a mile away. We rented a car so we could explore all the beautiful beaches, but Sapphire beach is really quite gorgeous. Loved the balcony for morning coffee and evening cocktails. The condo comes equipped with everything needed for cooking, coffee pot, beach toys, cooler, etc. Kirk is only a phone call away if needed (we didn't need him) and I would stay here again.

Stunning beach, amazing location!

  • 5 of 5

My daughter and I just returned from staying at this condo for Spring Break. I intentionally picked a second floor condo for the view and breeze, and I wasn't disappointed! Sapphire Beach was beautiful and it was so nice to have staff on hand each day to carry your beach chair and place it where you wanted it. My daughter enjoyed swimming and playing in the sand. The water was most calm in the mornings, so we would get up and be out there early. There was hardly anyone out at that time and it was wonderful. It did get crowded on the days that the cruise ships would drop groups off there. We also spent a day at Lindquist Beach, it was even more beautiful and only a couple of minutes a way. I recommend it! It was peaceful and the water was even more clear than at Sapphire Beach. We ate several meals at Sapphire Beach Club Restaurant, the food was good and reasonably priced. They also take orders at the beach, but we didn't do that. We went into Red Hook twice for groceries. The grocery store is a little pricey, but not as expensive as eating out. The kitchen in the condo is fully stocked with pots/pans/cooking utensils. We also took the ferry to St. John and spent the day at Trunk Bay. It was the most stunning beach I have ever been to. We also went parasailing. The boat picked us up from Sapphire Marina. My daughter really enjoyed it. The condo was absolutely wonderful. The only thing I would change is the bed. For me, the mattress was really hard and I had trouble sleeping. This was the perfect location for just about everything. I would recommend it to anyone.

Condo comfort, great beach and marina access, Area needs some work

  • 4 of 5

First off, the local rental agents, Kirk and Cara Jo, provided very prompt and attentive response by email and phone and personal visits. They took care of a safe lock out and local suggestions for sailing and running.

The condo is second floor, so we enjoyed having sliding doors open most of the time to hear the small waves and breezes in the palms. The sea and the pool are about 75' away, and few people in either one. Fortunately, we brought borrowed masks, because the rental shop, as well as the restaurant and snack bar, are boarded up, looking very abandoned, and would benefit from some clean-up or re purposing. Although the walk to town is less than a mile, I suggest not trying it, because we did and it was narrow, steep, windy, trashy and varied between not fun and trashy. Fortunately, daytime safari bus was $1 and night time vans just $4, so it is ok to not have a car. We got one just for the last day, to explore and to get ourselves to an early flight. The airline said 3 hours pre-departure, but we heard from other repeat visitors that two hours was reasonable. I enjoyed walking the adjacent marina, and we had a wonderful day cruise with Capt Rick and son Wes on nighthawk. This boat was suggested by our helpful realty agent also.

The furniture, two sinked bath, kitchen/LR all ok, except range top needs some adjusting. Having rented beach places for decades, we appreciated that some starter foods, dish soap, etc and some yummy fig jam were left, because shopping takes travel and was much lower priority than being on the beach. The beach is long for walks, uncrowded, and provides good barefoot access at one point by the closed rental shop. Otherwise, bring some rubber shoes or similar, because it is very hard to access across the coral. Snorkeling very good for fish, below par for coral. We easily did a ferry trip to St john for a day and dinner, and visited three restaurants in Red hook, as well as buy fresh fish at the Fish Trap restaurant/store. March temperature mid eighties, only one real rain in 10 days. Oh yeah, we loved the balcony morning, noon and night.

Incredible views, Cozy condo & an Amazing vacation

  • 5 of 5

Two of my girlfriends and I just got back from staying at this condo in the Virgin Islands for Spring Break. We had the most incredible vacation ever and our living space had a huge hand in it. The condo is right on the beautiful Sapphire beach with crystal white sand and aqua blue waters. The patio is so great to eat breakfast on or just to enjoy the sound of the ocean and breeze at night. There were times when I had to force my friends to leave the apartment so we could go explore the island because they were so attached to the place

The pictures are very true to the actual space and the condo is very cozy. The snorkeling on our beach was awesome because there was a lot of coral on the beach and we saw so many different types of fish. What we absolutely loved about the Sapphire Beach was its location and its close proximity to the town of Red Hook. We were less than half a mile away from town, we walked a couple of times or took the dollar cab from the top of the hill.

Kirk, the owner, was very helpful in answering all our questions and we had a very comfortable stay. We got back from vacation less than a week ago and we are already planning our next Spring Break trip back here. I would recommend this place to all my friends and my family (I already have).

Happy Vacation Everyone!

The best beach!

  • 4 of 5

This condo is on gorgeous Sapphire Beach, which is one of the best beaches in the Caribbean. Great sand, good snorkeling off the beach, and good amenities (chairs for rent, water sports, food, etc.)

The condo was clean and ready for our week's stay. The owners are local and very pleasant to work with.

The condo is very close to the ferry terminal at Red Hook (a $1 safari bus ride) which is great if you are visiting or snorkeling on nearby St. John, as we did twice. The ferry is a 20-minute ride.

Nearby Red Hook offers a grocery market, a few very good restaurants, bars, and places to relax after a day on the beach.

We'd recommend this location for couples, families, and those wanting to avoid the Spring Break crowd.

Great time at Sapphire Beach

  • 5 of 5

My boyfriend and I stayed in unit D206, a great studio apt. that was well-maintained, clean and had everything we needed, and the view was amazing! This resort is in a great location, very close to Red Hook and a beautiful beach right at your doorstep. I would definitely stay here again and would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone visiting St. Thomas.
