The enchanted shores

Large house leaning against the hillside, enter through the first terrace in a small airlock to access on the right the troglodyte kitchen and on the left the very bright living room with its comfortable lounge and its dining area offering a beautiful view of the Indre valley. On the first floor, the corridor leads to a small bedroom with 2 bunk beds (for children only), a double bedroom with its private terrace overlooking the park, a bathroom-shower-wc and finally a master bedroom with its queen size bed and its private balcony facing the river. Outside, espaliered a second grassy and shaded terrace. Go down about twenty steps to access the private land on the banks of the Indre to enjoy the tranquility of the place and the wooden pontoon. Small clarification: access to the house from the parking lot has a difference in level of about fifty steps under a planted arbor which may present difficulties for people who have difficulty walking.

When you arrive at your destination, park your cars near the garage and the gate, along the municipal road.

Key management is handled independently. The residence's concierge service is available by phone or text message if needed from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. After 7 p.m., only emergency calls, text messages, or WhatsApp messages are accepted.

Here's a description of the region's attractions. Courcay, a village of 800 inhabitants, is crossed by the Indre River and offers a few local shops (bars, restaurants, bread shop) and numerous walking trails. Stroll through Loches for a drink and let yourself be guided by the many restaurants serving cuisine from all continents. Enjoy the famous market every Wednesday and Saturday morning in the heart of town. At the top of the pedestrian street, enter the medieval city through the royal gate to discover the royal castle of Charles VII and the 37-meter keep, a masterpiece of 11th-century military architecture, while enjoying a 360-degree terrace overlooking the entire town of Loches. You're less than 30 minutes from Beauval Zoo (allow a full day), 25 minutes from the elegant Château de Chenonceau, and Amboise with its royal castle and Clos Lucé Park (Leonardo da Vinci's final resting place). Take the time to visit Chédigny, a listed "remarkable garden" village, the Château de Montpoupon, or the Château de Montrésor. If you love nature, enjoy the many hiking trails in the beautiful national forest with its century-old oak trees, some of which were used for the reconstruction of Notre Dame de Paris. Or even Brenne, the land of a thousand ponds. And so many beautiful things to discover in South Touraine.
