Had a wonderful weeks stay. House was comfortable. Host was quick to respond to questions; very accommodating; and quite pleasant. Would definitely stay there again.
Booked for the pool to use as a weekend getaway for two of us. We took advantage of how close the stay was to Tecumseh and the amazing downtown. Super quiet and very clean. Will stay again.
We were very impressed with our stay. We go to this area often and this is the first time staying here but will be my first choice next time going. Met owner and was very nice. It is located on a main road but sets back and you don’t hear any noise. Kind of sets back in the trees. Very relaxing. Have family and friends that live in area and is convenient to eating, shopping etc.
The home was very clean, good quality bedding, and towels. The location was perfect for our stay. The outdoor space was picturesque and quiet.
Communication with the owner was excellent, and our check in/ check out was seamless.
We will definitely look to stay here the next time we are in Chillicothe.
We were overall very satisfied. The house accommodated all of our needs. The kids loved the pool. Everyone had a great time, and the house was perfect for our family of four. The hosts were very nice and communicative. I would book again when I come back to visit Ohio. Thanks.
The property is lovely. It's located close to downtown Chillicothe and yet private and quiet. There is an inground pool along with outdoor seating/grill. The house is clean, bright and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to go back sometime.
The house was clean, comfortable, and generously stocked with amenities. Perfect for me, my husband, and two kids. My kids loved the pool, which was very clean and well-kept. Location was perfect for all we wanted to do (access to hiking, Adena Mansion, good food, antiques). This has probably been my favorite VRBO, it had everything we wanted and needed.
I can not say how much we enjoyed the house and the hosts. House was spotless and comfortable. We have already decided on another extended visit. The hosts are friendly and quick to respond to any questions.
I got two girlhood friends together for the weekend. We have never spent any time in Chillicothe before. We had a great time- learning about some of Ohio history. We had a lovely stay at the house. It was very clean and comfortable!
We had a wonderful stay here! Perfect for 2 or a family! Quiet, private and yet central to so many spots of interest! Tecumseh is a must see for everyone. Hocking Hills is so close! The hosts are great and the pool, yard, wildlife and home are better then described. Couldn’t ask for a better rental experience. I’d highly recommend this property to anyone! Thank you for a great visit!
This property sita back from the road nestled among the trees. My daughter was thrilled by the Deer who were frequent visitors. The property offered a pool, frisbee cage, and firepit seating area. Inside was very clean and cozy. One bedroom even contains a Sleep Number bed. If we find reason to be in Chillicothe again, we will certainly visit this property again!!
Very nice little house, in a great location to explore the local parks. Clean, well equipped with all the essentials (we really enjoyed the board games). A really good option for traveling with older kids. The kitchen was spotless and safe for daughter with food allergies. The house was very close to Buzzards Roost, (very pretty with a ton of wildlife), and the Hopewell National Historical Park (a must see). Host was friendly and responsive. We would certainly visit again.
The place was nice and clean. We didn't realize that the rental home was on the same property as the owner and her personal home and the pool is shared with her. But other than those minor details it was a pleasant experience.
This well kept home was just what we needed on our visit to Chillicothe for a wedding. Private, yet close to everything, the 2 bedrooms and 1/2 bath rental was perfect for the three of us to enjoy.
The kitchen has everything you could possibly want for meal preparation and baking, and there is a washer dryer in the half bath.
Michele is an affable and easy to reach hostess, and made it easy to check in and out.
Would definitely stay here on a future visit!
Perfect place for me to catch my breath during my first reunion with my birth family! Michelle, you and Richard were the perfect hosts, so glad we got to chat!!! Beautiful view, comfy bed and everything you could need in the kitchen! I baked and prepared food just like at my home. Perfect. ❤️
