Lutterbek
On the way from Kiel to Schönberg turn left after Brodersdorf to the village of Lutterbek, located in the East Holstein hills and lakes. Lutterbek with its approximately 400 inhabitants lies in the valley of the Hagener Au, which divides the place into approximately two equal halves. The valley of the "Lautere Bach" also shapes the surrounding landscape. Due to the difficult accessibility of the lowlands surrounding the stream, one can still find remnants of a largely uninfluenced nature.
To the left and right of the valley is a typical Schleswig-Holstein cultural landscape with the associated Knicks. The Au with its partially wooded slopes and especially the Knicks is also a retreat for some on the "red list" standing species; so you can still watch many rare birds here in peace.
The village appearance is rural and is characterized by the three farms still in operation. Lutterbek is characterized by a high number of homes worthy of protection, thereby preserving the typical Probsteier village character. For a tour of the village invite the many thatched houses with their partly generous courtyards and entrance areas.
The village community house was formerly the school of the place, opposite is the old blacksmith. The old dairy, the former watermill, the old grocery store and the Dorfkrug, today's "Lutterbeker": All these buildings are still standing and with a little imagination you can imagine the village life around the turn of the century well.
Also in today's Lutterbek some buildings are in the center of the village life. Thus, not only the meetings of the municipal council take place in the village community center, it is also the meeting place of the sports club with its various branches and the Freiwiligen fire department. For parties and family celebrations, the rooms are also available.
A goal not only of the villagers, but also far beyond the provost is the "Lutterbeker". With its colorful calendar of events ranging from cabaret and cabaret to music, from folk to punk and rock, to exhibitions by artists in the adjoining gallery.

In 2007, we rebuilt and renovated our watermill for their vacation in the Probstei. The newly created holiday homes are surrounded by fields and meadows on the edge of the community Lutterbek. Our 4-star apartments have 3 bedrooms and are high quality and tastefully decorated. In our apartment, we attach great importance to comfort and a neat atmosphere. In the outdoor area there is a furnished, 25 m² balcony for one apartment, and for the other apartment as large a terrace. On the 10000 m² large property there is a children's playground, a garden hut with a cozy barbecue area, various seating areas, sun loungers and beach chairs invite you to laze around. The property is crossed by the Hagener Au and still own a large fishing pond with rowing boat. You can safely store your bicycles with us. An on-site parking for your cars and bicycles are also available.
